Brittany & Jon
Brittany and Jon’s wedding in Medicine Hat was such a fantastic way to wrap up the wedding season! Jan and I headed out there for what was my first trip to that city (shameful since it’s so close and I’ve lived here for seven years!), and I absolutely loved the architecture and scenery there. I was sad the wedding would only last one day, ha ha.
These two were a dream to work with. Jon is totally a better looking version of Marc Anthony, and Brittany is so cute and bubbly and I just wanted to take her home with me in my pocket :) I had such a great time with them and their bridal party, and the day totally flew by.
I’m trying to stop doing 50 image blog posts, so I forced myself to strip this down to just over 30… but to do that I left all the pre-ceremony, ceremony, and reception photos in the slideshow! Oh my, it was so hard to narrow down photos of this smokin’ hot couple!
Their beautiful ceremony at the Golf and Country Club overlooked the city – and there was no wind!
Medalta was such a cool location… Brittany and Jon did amazing scouting for their photos!
The architecture at the Esplanade was phenomenal. I could have shot there for three hours, which we unfortunately didn’t have.
The watch was Brittany’s gift to Jon
Brittany wanted a car shot, but because they used a large limo for their day, we were car-less for the photo… until we found this beauty. Luckily it belonged to a guest at the wedding, because we were going to do this photo regardless ;)
Lastly, I was going to skip the reception photos on here, but I wanted to tell you how Brittany totally cleared the rafters with her bouquet (and my girl Kelsie caught it!)….
…whereas Jon lodged it up there, requiring group effort to retrieve it ;)
