Intimate Waterton Wedding [Reid & Lauren]
It may have been chilly with the crisp air coming off the snow covered mountains, but having Waterton mostly to ourselves more than made up for it! Reid and Lauren held their intimate Waterton wedding right after the town closed for the season, which was a perfect location due to each of their families having such strong ties to the area (including one set of parents having had their wedding there too!).
Lauren and Reid are such sweet, caring people and their families were so warm and inviting. We felt so at home with them all day. I really loved the subtle vintage feel of their wedding and adored Lauren’s calf-length dress, perfect for showing off her gorgeous blue shoes! She was smart and brought along a wool coat to stay warm throughout the afternoon :)
Congratulations, Lauren and Reid!
We started out the day with their ceremony at the Waterton United Church.
Family is so important to Lauren and Reid, so we spent a little more time than normal photographing them with both their immediate and extended families at Cameron Falls.
Three generations :)
The guys wondered why I was taking so many photos, but didn’t say anything and went along with it! Perfect setup for a photobomb :)
It’s great to see that people can put aside their differences for love ;)
At this time of year, it is hard to resist throwing leaves around!
Because the guys were good sports…
Aside from being her “something blue,” Lauren’s color-choice in shoes offered such a great contrast against the autumn colors.
Lauren’s wildflower bouquet arrangement was perfectly done. It really looked like she had gathered the photos herself before the wedding.
Usually at this door I need to watch for tourists going by, but this time I just had to frame around barricades!
