Elvis the Dog | Helping Animals in Need

Sunday, January 15th, 2012

I am so excited to be volunteering with the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society. Showing off how cute the animals are plays a huge role in helping them get adopted, so I will now be visiting these dogs in their foster homes to take their photos!

Today I got to meet Elvis (or “Ellie”), and she was a total sweetheart who was full of energy. If you’re looking for a dog… *hint hint* (more…)

Kelsie & Heidi | Lethbridge Mother-Daughter Photos

Monday, October 31st, 2011

I always love photographing Kelsie! I haven’t seen her in a long time, so it was great to catch up and see her and her mom Heidi. They each brought their dogs, Jager and Trixie, who were super cute, and we spent some time on a very windy afternoon at the university pond – how their hair looks so still, I have no idea! :) (more…)

Coco the Doberman | Lethbridge Dog Portraits

Friday, August 26th, 2011

I just love doing dog portraits! Coco was super mellow and although she was a little stubborn at times, we got some great photos of her. Such a sweet dog! :) (more…)

Cassandra and Jax the Dog

Wednesday, August 10th, 2011

Cassandra is about to head out to the coast to attend dog training school, and since she needed a pal to bring along and learn with, she adopted Jax! He’s only a year old so he is exploding with energy, but even in her short time with him, he is already really starting to follow her cues; she is definitely going into the right program! He is so adorable, especially with the eye patch (too bad his little black mustache is fading). (more…)

Deuce the Dog, Crowsnest Pass

Wednesday, June 1st, 2011

This weekend I was able to take dog photos of adorable Deuce, the not-so-puppy Great Dane. I had been looking forward to meeting him for a long time, and he is so awesome! He’s not fully out of his puppy stage yet so he’s still full of hyperactive energy and awkwardness, but since he’s a Great Dane he’s already bigger than most dogs. (When I arrived, I had to clarify if that was him in the backyard, or if they had a new foal. It was him.) He was so fun to work with (as long as I was able to avoid the slobber) and I’m happy I could capture his beautiful blue eyes in some photos :) Such a sweet, loving, big dog! (more…)
