Another autumn session! Tarryn and I have had a terrible time booking her family’s session; every time we’d pick a day, it would snow! Today we finally lucked out and had a beautiful warm afternoon to work with. Along with her husband Matt and their cute little guy Wyatt we took a stroll through the river bottom (by stroll I mean running after Wyatt) and took photos along the way. In usual 2 year old fashion, Wyatt wasn’t very pleased with us a little bit into the shoot, so I had to switch to paparazzi-shooting him :)

Second shoot of the day! I’ve photographed Brenda before, but this time I got to meet her husband Luke and their “children” Leah and Oliver :) I had such a great time with this little family, and I was very impressed with Leah and Oliver’s photo attention, but then again, so were Luke and Brenda!

(I’d also like to add how much I love the new landscaping at the Sunridge marsh. These photos were all taken in a single location! I know the field will be lost to houses in no time, but right now that park is so diverse and wonderful.)

The winter weather finally cleared up (hopefully for more than a few days!) so my day was filled with a bunch of “autumn colors” photos… even though there aren’t many autumn colors out there after the trees had the snow shock hit them! (Luckily I can fake it a bit, hehe).

The first shoot of the day was with Paula and Dean, and their two cuties Mackenzie and Kahlan. These girls were adorable little models and excellent at posing – until we got distracted by all the crunchy leaves! I hope you all had fun playing in the leaves with me :)

This weekend I somehow managed to sneak in some time to shoot my co-worker Mike, who found some cool b&w shots of Lebron James he wanted to emulate… and has a girl he wants to impress and send some photos to :)

Brittany and Jon’s wedding in Medicine Hat was such a fantastic way to wrap up the wedding season! Jan and I headed out there for what was my first trip to that city (shameful since it’s so close and I’ve lived here for seven years!), and I absolutely loved the architecture and scenery there. I was sad the wedding would only last one day, ha ha.

These two were a dream to work with. Jon is totally a better looking version of Marc Anthony, and Brittany is so cute and bubbly and I just wanted to take her home with me in my pocket :) I had such a great time with them and their bridal party, and the day totally flew by.

I’m trying to stop doing 50 image blog posts, so I forced myself to strip this down to just over 30… but to do that I left all the pre-ceremony, ceremony, and reception photos in the slideshow! Oh my, it was so hard to narrow down photos of this smokin’ hot couple!

I’ve worked with Jasmin before, but this time she was in the spotlight! We took advantage of what might be one of the last warm days of the year for some family photos with her, her husband Edward, and their four-legged children. I had a blast working with this sweet family :)
