I hadn’t seen Mia since just after her little guy Braxton was born, so it was a pleasure to join her, James, and Brax to capture their maternity photos before their second child comes. Mia is and will continue to be one hot mama! We made a studio out of their basement and I had a such a great time with them (especially tricking Braxton into the photos!) :)
This last very beautiful Saturday I got to shoot the wedding of Eric and Chelsey (Julie’s bridesmaid) and had such a great time…. I anticipated it would be so much fun, and I was not let down at all! These two are young, totally in love, and (my personal favorite) a little bit silly, which all amounted to such great moments for me to capture! We worked super fast to fit in all the wonderful ideas we had, and ran totally on time all day – they even had time for a few spins on the ferris wheel!
Last weekend I second shot a wedding for Michael Warf in Calgary, and it gave me a chance to spend the next day with my friend Brad who will be moving to Vancouver soon. Brad is an actor and a crazy fun to hang out with, and I just had to do one more shoot with him before he heads West. We hit up Inglewood, and only slightly got in the way of a wedding party (and many pigeons). (more…)
Today I had the opportunity to shoot such an amazing session! Ebony and Shawn have been married for one month short of a year, and wanted some stylish photos to celebrate. Wanting a contrast to the fancy clothes they were wearing, we hit some grungy places downtown, and I am so in love with how the colors between our surroundings, Ebony’s champagne dress, Shawn’s green shirt (and shoes!), and his hair worked together! These two are both cute and smokin’ hot together and I had such a great time working with them.
Yesterday I had a really fun shoot with friends Michelle, Katie, and Cynthia, who haven’t been together in Lethbridge as a trio in six years! These girls were great to work with and awesome at making each other laugh :) (more…)
Though Janae graduated some time ago, she never had photos done in her awesome blue dress… and better late than never! We spent a few gorgeous evening hours taking photos around town, and though she didn’t think she knew how to pose, she did a pretty good job following my directions :) After our nature-y stops we caught the amazing sunset, and faked some evening photos. This was such a great dress for her; it matched her eyes perfectly!
