Oh my goodness, more kitties!

The Last Chance Cat Ranch here in Lethbridge has a new round of adorable cats available for adoption, as well as in need of foster homes. This batch were as sweet as the last ones, if not more so, and I had so much fun getting to meet them! (more…)

I just adore taking photos where pets are involved, so I was beyond thrilled when Janeal contacted me about family photos with her (human) daughter Erin and their furry children. Matching dogs Sniper and Guinness were so gorgeous and playful, and even though they were pretty crazy (as most dogs are!) they listened to their mom so well. I already photographed Sniper earlier last year when he was giving a demo at the MS Walk (picture after the cut), but this was the first time I actually met him. I had a great time with them, and even Erin’s adorable cat Romeo joined us for a few photos! (more…)

I’ve known Trish for what is getting close to ten years now, so I was thrilled to finally take family photos of her, Adam, and their fur babies, Tucker and Morrison. They are such a cute family and some of the nicest people I have ever met :) Their dogs are so sweet and even though they were exploding with energy, they listened so well. Morrison wanted to be in every photo and usually trampled Tucker (and me) in efforts to be included! (more…)

More kitties! The Lethbridge Last Chance Cat Ranch recently received some additions and I got to come out for more cat cuddles and photograph them. A few were quite shy at first, but with our persistence they quickly learned they could get lots of head scratches! I also got to meet an adorable set of four kittens who were being shown at Pet Valu for the day! All of these cats are available through the Last Chance Cat Ranch and are very deserving of good homes. (more…)

Irene and Jed wanted to get some family photos done while their beloved senior dog was still with them. We met up on a very blustery day, which just made the dogs look like supermodels with billowing hair :) Moufassa and Finnegan were such beautiful dogs and I had so much fun with them! They had such contrasting personalities; the senior Moufie was so laid back but wanted to check out everything, while Finnegan has energy like he’s a few years younger but was totally fine chilling out with us. Irene and Jed with their fur babies make such a cute family :)
It is so sad that Moufie is no longer with us, but I am grateful I had the opportunity to capture his spirit in photographs so that they can always have the memories to look back on. He was very clearly an amazing dog and will be greatly missed :( (more…)

I love helping abandoned animals find homes, and there are a lot of cats currently in need. Winter is always rough on strays, so if any of these cats can find homes, it helps free up space for even more cats that need a family of their own! I recently visited one foster location of the Last Chance Cat Ranch here in Lethbridge and got to spend the morning getting lots of love from a room full of friendly cats. They were all so sweet and are definitely deserving of good homes.
If any of these cats really tug at your heart strings, contact Last Chance Cat Ranch for more info!
On to the kitties! (more…)
