Hailey, Joanne, and Darren – Lethbridge Family Fall Photos

Saturday, October 2nd, 2010

Another smiley baby! Hailey brought her parents Joanne and Darren along for some family photos in the changing leaves, and we had a gorgeous afternoon to work with. They were such an easy family to work with, and for at least 75% of the time, Hailey thought I was hilarious playing peekaboo with my camera. Thank you for driving down to play in the leaves! Andrew, Ethan, Janet and Ryan – Lethbridge Fall Photos

Sunday, September 26th, 2010

Andrew has grown up a little, and he now has a little brother, Ethan! I met up with the boys and their mom and dad out in Sunridge to play in the fall colors for a bit. The boys definitely prefered playing over modeling, so it’s a good thing there were so many things for them to do out there (and patient parents who liked to tickle them and fling them around) :) (more…)

Lori and Luka

Saturday, October 24th, 2009

Today’s blog will be something a little different. Earlier this week I photographed my co-worker Lori and her son Luka, catching the tail-end of the autumn colors here in Lethbridge. Since Lori is a writer, she asked if she could write a guest blog, and I couldn’t resist! (I’m also glad I don’t have to write it because my finger is bandaged from a cut and it is very difficult to type properly!)

It’s not Black and White (more…)

Paula, Dean, Mackenzie and Kahlan

Sunday, October 18th, 2009

The winter weather finally cleared up (hopefully for more than a few days!) so my day was filled with a bunch of “autumn colors” photos… even though there aren’t many autumn colors out there after the trees had the snow shock hit them! (Luckily I can fake it a bit, hehe).

The first shoot of the day was with Paula and Dean, and their two cuties Mackenzie and Kahlan. These girls were adorable little models and excellent at posing – until we got distracted by all the crunchy leaves! I hope you all had fun playing in the leaves with me :)

Brittany & Jon

Tuesday, October 6th, 2009

Brittany and Jon’s wedding in Medicine Hat was such a fantastic way to wrap up the wedding season! Jan and I headed out there for what was my first trip to that city (shameful since it’s so close and I’ve lived here for seven years!), and I absolutely loved the architecture and scenery there. I was sad the wedding would only last one day, ha ha.

These two were a dream to work with. Jon is totally a better looking version of Marc Anthony, and Brittany is so cute and bubbly and I just wanted to take her home with me in my pocket :) I had such a great time with them and their bridal party, and the day totally flew by.

I’m trying to stop doing 50 image blog posts, so I forced myself to strip this down to just over 30… but to do that I left all the pre-ceremony, ceremony, and reception photos in the slideshow! Oh my, it was so hard to narrow down photos of this smokin’ hot couple!

Aerial photography!

Monday, October 6th, 2008

As you can tell, I’m trying to catch up on photos before I leave!

On Saturday Hope sent Sarah and I out to do aerial shots of a few branches throughout Alberta. It was the first time for both Sarah and me to do aerial photography and fly in a small plane, so what an experience! Hope’s cousin Josh was the pilot, and he was awesome to fly with. He was fun to be around and really good at what he does (oh it made the day less painful).

I was worried about motion sickness, so Hope got me sea-bands to wear. She tried to talk me into Gravol (it`s an anti-nauseant for those of you in the US), but that stuff knocks me out; Sarah has learnt it is very chemically similar to sleeping pills, which ironically don`t work for me!

Hope, James, and Jaxen saw us off. Jaxen was the only one okay with being up that early.
