Coleman late autumn family photos

Little Blair’s parents came for a visit to see family in the Crowsnest Pass and took some time out of their weekend for Coleman late autumn family photos. It definitely felt like winter was on its way so Blair got to rock his cute orange toque and stylish gray coat for the session! This probably led to many of the pouts he gave us since he’s a baby who prefers being naked, but I think he managed just fine.

We went to the Miner’s Path and found a few splashes of autumn colors left. I love the walking trail there so much, and even in the winter it is beautiful with all the evergreen trees. It was a perfect spot for this cute family.

natural newborn session Lethbridge

All it took was a dance class to nudge Hadley into the world ;) Her parents welcomed her home right on schedule and are just glowing around their first baby. Even her doggie sister is thrilled and insists on giving her kisses!

We did her natural newborn session in her home in Lethbridge just a few days after her arrival and she was very interested in everything we were up to (so no sleeping baby photos!). She seems very curious and with how much she likes kicking, I’m sure she’ll be crawling way ahead of schedule!

Lethbridge baby girl newborn session

Marella is here! Melissa and Schuyler welcomed her into Lethbridge just one week before her baby girl newborn session in their home. They are all so happy and excited to have her there, and even her brother and sister are constantly doting on her!

Marella is used to sleeping all day so all this new excitement and attention kept her awake and alert during her photos. Even while alert, she was her usual mellow self and thanks to occasional sleepy eyes, we still got a few photos where she looks like she’s asleep! She didn’t fuss at all the whole time and was totally content just watching everything.

Henderson Lake newborn session

Spring finally arrived! I’m sure I wasn’t the only one excited as little baby Nova didn’t seem like she could be happier to be outside for her Henderson Lake newborn session. At just a little over a month old, she’s already super curious and getting pretty tall, so it’s great we got her photo session in before she gets much bigger! She was so full of smiles, especially when her dad made loud, funny sounds. There is no shame in making a baby laugh ;)

It was such a beautiful spring morning at the lake with all of the new green colors starting to come out, and Nova looked adorable in her white summer dress and hat. She was so content to just hang out under the trees and get cuddles from her mom and dad in between all the photos.

Cute pink Lethbridge baby session

Shari and Garett welcomed their third beautiful baby girl into the world, Alivia! Her mom wanted a break from the other girls running around so we did Alivia’s photos at Lethbridge Casa instead of their home. Since Alivia is her sisters’ new “doll,” I’m sure she also appreciated the change of scenery! This cute baby session featured a TON of pink, which really brought out Alivia’s blue eyes.

Alivia may have been a little moody, but kept forgetting about that when it came time for peekaboo or smiling at her mom. She has such great big open mouthed laughs! Shari and Garett definitely make some cute babies. (more…)

Lethbridge newborn photography

Corey, Emma, and new big sister Khloe welcomed little baby Brody into the world this past autumn! For his newborn photography session I came over to visit Brody in his new house and got to spend time playing with Khloe in between the photos.

Brody is taking his growth spurts very seriously… at just a month old he was already trying to figure out how to crawl away from us, and even lifting his head a little! He was so easy to keep calm as long as his “alarm” stopper was plugged in between photos :)
