The last time I saw Kian was when he was a tummy bump, so I was excited to get a chance to photograph him this morning. He’s such a cute baby, and very curious and quiet, so he barely fussed through our entire shoot because he was so interested in the camera! He was easily one of the calmest babies I’ve ever photographed, so that made my job a lot easier :)
Laura is expecting baby number two soon, so today we did her maternity photos with the rest of the family! I had a great time shooting this laid back, fun family, and am so impressed at little Nate’s modeling skills! (All this after he announced he wasn’t going to be in any photos just before I got there.)
I’m so happy I got to do this shot… I’ve been wanting to do it for a while!
This afternoon Ali, Ryan, and their new baby Tori came in to Lethbridge for Tori’s first baby photos. Tori is such a little sweetie, but we had to work quick because she’d get bored of whatever I was doing after 2 minutes and need something new! (I can relate, ha ha)
Yesterday I had the pleasure of taking photos of Dawn and Brett and their four children. (The subject of this entry is a quote from Dawn when she was first inquiring about photos :P ) Although we had some cranky kids (they took turns fussing), we made it work! There was a lot of chasing the runaways, but in the end we discovered all it took was a piece of gum to make everyone happy, shown in the second photo in Dawn’s hands (notice all the kids’ attention on it!).
Also… last week, Mardell and Bob (you will see them soon when I make a big post of my favorite Litwin photos from the year) came in to the studio and brought me a Christmas gift…
I haven’t seen Andrew since he was a baby… and he’s so cute! Everyone knows I’m not a child-person, but I had so much fun playing with him. (Shocking, I know!) Thanks Janet, for bringing him out for photos!
Last weekend I managed to go back home for a few days, and take some photos I’ve been itching to do for some time! There really aren’t enough free weekends during wedding season to go to the CNP, and then it’s just too cold.
First I started with some light painting, and my mom helped as my assistant :)
