Claire | Lethbridge Baby Photos

Friday, June 8th, 2012

Now here’s an independent baby! Even though she’s only a few months old, cutie Claire is already trying to roll around, push herself up, and do things her way. She definitely let us know when she wasn’t pleased with us, but a few cuddles from mom and a glimpse out the window always gave her the encouragement to get through the next set of photos.

Claire’s momma is super talented and has knitted all kinds of cute things for her to wear! This baby likes being warm, so her favorite seemed to be her big colorful booties :) (more…)

Valerie & Jonathan’s Coaldale Wedding Reception

Sunday, April 1st, 2012

Valerie and Jonathan, who you might remember from their engagement session last autumn, had an intimate wedding in Cuba this winter and then returned for an evening reception with their local friends and family. These two are young, totally in love, and (my personal favorite) a little bit silly, which all amounted to such great moments for me to capture! We worked super fast to fit in all the wonderful ideas we had, and ran totally on time all day – they even had time for a few spins on the ferris wheel!

Birds of Prey Centre

Friday, September 5th, 2008

Last year we were asked in Photo Club to donate any photos of “Albertan animals” to the Birds of Prey Centre in Coaldale for a photo exhibit they were putting on. My gopher photo was one of the images chosen, so I was given a free guest pass for this year, which I finally used recently.

I wasn’t as intrigued as last year, as I exhausted the photos I could take that time around (opting to take more “noble” looking photos of the birds), so I spent much less time there on this visit. It didn’t help that I felt too impatient to wait for the flight demonstration, after which I could hold an owl again! However, I was pleasantly surprised with some of the photos I captured… all animals can be quite amusing if you watch them long enough!
