Galt Museum Engagement Session [Raiven & Jonathan]

Indian Battle Park engagement photos

Raiven and Jonathan couldn’t decide between a Galt Museum engagement session or one in the river bottom, so why not both? They picked a gorgeous spring evening for it too!

I loved watching how great Raiven and Jonathan are together. It’s obvious they are best friends; whenever we’d have a moment to pause between photos, they’d eagerly be telling each other stories and making each other laugh! I can’t wait to see how happy they are at their wedding later this year :)

Waterton Bicycle Adventure Engagement Session [Krysty & Kole]

Waterton bicycle adventure engagement session

Krysty and Kole are avid cyclists who love riding near Chief Mountain and wanted to incorporate that into their engagement photos. They brought their bikes out for a Waterton bicycle adventure engagement session, finishing the day with a scenic hike to the Bear’s Hump in town. It was my first time doing the hike and I was so excited after wanting to take photos there for so long! I was a little slower making it up the mountain than they were but at least it gave them time to change at the top :)

We started the session just outside of Waterton with their vintage bicycles. I love how they styled themselves for the session! Krysty even picked up a fresh bouquet of flowers for her bicycle basket. They are such a cute couple and so incredibly sweet to each other. I’m so happy they could bring me on their adventure that day!

Early Spring Lethbridge Engagement Photos [Alki & Sophia]

early spring Lethbridge engagement photos

Alki and Sophia came down to visit Sophia’s home town area over Easter and see family while planning their wedding for this summer. As part of their wedding preparations, I met up with them for their early spring Lethbridge engagement photos at Aperture Park at the University and it was awesome to meet them in person after only talking to them on the phone! They are so adorable together. They really feed off of each other’s light hearted energy while still sharing these romantic, introspective moments together. If they are this happy together normally, I can’t wait to see how big those smiles will be on the wedding day!

Lethbridge Casual Couples Portraits [A & J]

Lethbridge casual couples portraits

J’s mom wasn’t able to get all of her boys together for a photoshoot and instead gifted her photos to him and his gorgeous girlfriend A. J and A were so adorable together for their Lethbridge casual couples portraits. They are such naturals in front of the camera and so hilarious! A lot of their humour revolved around J making some ridiculous claim followed by A smacking him in the arm ;)

We did their session at Aperture Park at the U of L on such a warm, sunny early evening.

During their visit to Kurtis’s parents here in Alberta I met up with them for Lethbridge summer evening maternity photos to celebrate this milestone in their life. They are so excited to be welcoming a little one into their lives. The baby is going to have an amazing mom and dad judging by the love they radiate together!

Snowy Coleman Engagement Session [Meaghan & Chad]

winter Crowsnest Pass engagement photos

Meaghan and Chad got so lucky with a snowy Coleman engagement session. When they booked weeks in advance, we had no idea what December would give us and just managed to miss the -20C temperatures! We started at the Frank Slide Interpretive Centre parking lot for beautiful snowy views of the rock slide, but this proved to be the chilliest spot of all (it’s almost like being on an exposed mountain surface makes things windier! ;) ) and made our final stop at the Miner’s Path a very welcome warm visit.

They were very committed to their photos and willing to strip down to just sweaters, which looked so cute! I made sure they got to stay extra snuggly and warm their chilly hands up on each other as often as possible. This was definitely no challenge for them as being snuggly comes very naturally! I can’t wait for their wedding next summer, which should be a little easier when we aren’t in big coats and mittens ;)
