Lethbridge Morning Family Session [Kevin & Sarah]

Lethbridge morning family session

It’s hard to manage the separate activities of five children, so I really appreciate Kevin and Sarah taking a moment out of their busy day for their Lethbridge morning family session… even if it meant they had to rush off to their next activity! This family is so sweet together and I couldn’t get over how well behaved and ready for the camera the little ones were. They were definitely a family of perfect models!

Nicholas Sheran Spring Engagement Photos

I’m getting so excited for Andrea and Tylor’s wedding this month! I’ve known Andrea since grade one and it’s amazing to see her taking this step. We met up a few weeks before the wedding for Nicholas Sheran spring engagement photos so that they’d have something up to date to share at their reception. Their cute little girl Evelyn hopped in for a couple photos but quickly let us know she was happier hanging out with her uncle behind the scenes and picking grass blades.

It was such a gorgeous evening in Lethbridge; we couldn’t have asked for better weather! We even lucked out with a few lilacs still in full bloom :)

Lethbridge Spring Couple Photos

I love photographing friends so I was super happy when Amy and Kyle came to me for updated photos just before their wedding anniversary. We did their Lethbridge spring couple photos at Aperture Park which, like most of Lethbridge, is still covered in all those amazing blossoms! In between awkward giggles (I mean really, do you normally stare at your spouse for that long and that close?) they had so many moments of pure love and happiness. This felt a lot more like an engagement session than photos of partners who have been together for years :)

Coleman winter engagement photography

Though Erik and Alena are from Calgary, they are passionate about the mountains and want everything about their wedding to be based on that majestic landscape. We decided to start out with Coleman winter engagement photography as their first session, hoping for the heavy snow that is typical of February. Imagine our surprise when February rolled around with record highs! Luckily the Miner’s Path is tucked away enough with little sunlight during the winter and the creek was still completely frozen. With some careful angles we made it look like winter never really left!

Lethbridge indoor autumn family photos

I can’t believe how much Annelies has grown! It feels like just yesterday we did her one year photos but she just recently celebrated her second birthday. Her grandma and grandpa were excited to get the whole family together for portraits that week in Lethbridge. We started out with their indoor autumn family photos to avoid the leftover chill that hung around from the day before, plus to get a few photos in peace from the usual Lethbridge wind :) Their wardrobe color scheme looked so great in Markin Hall at the university!

Annelies had so much fun being the center of attention and especially loved getting chased by her dad when she tried to run away. Barbara and Bernie love doting on their granddaughter and she had the biggest smiles the whole time. She’s such a well behaved two year old that it was even easier to photograph her now than when she was one! Maybe she just hasn’t learned the word “no” yet ;)

Warm Winter Engagement Photos [Sharon & Richard]

warm winter engagement photos

When Sharon and Richard scheduled their session a few months ago to take place in December, we definitely weren’t expecting such warm winter engagement photos! Indian Battle Park felt like it was going through spring a whole season early with all the bright sunshine and total lack of wind.

Sharon and Richard are such a perfect couple, giggling like lovestruck teenagers every time they look at each other. I loved seeing how comfortable and snuggly they are together!
