I’ve worked with Jasmin before, but this time she was in the spotlight! We took advantage of what might be one of the last warm days of the year for some family photos with her, her husband Edward, and their four-legged children. I had a blast working with this sweet family :)
I love following up with past wedding couples of mine, so I was excited to hear Cara and Kurt are expecting their first baby within the next month! I had a great time doing this maternity session today, and I hope I didn’t torture Kurt too much. Their dog Tigger must have remembered being in their wedding photos because he made a point of trying to pose in some of these (their cat couldn’t have cared less though).
A week ago Jan and I headed over to Cardston for Venus and Trevor’s temple wedding. What cuties they are! I had a great time with them and their itty bitty bridal party, and they were so much fun! They came prepared to have fun in their photos and it made the day run so smooth.
I was very excited to see the zebra shoes Venus and her sister picked – if you see me much at all, you know how big a deal that is for me… I have a bit of an “obsession” with that pattern ;) Venus, thanks for keeping me in mind when shoe shopping!
They had a few requests for their photos, specifically: a field, and a tractor. Jan and I came to Cardston early, and were met with great luck for locations! Actually, the luck was too good, and I found so many places where I wanted to shoot, most of which we just didn’t have time for. At least we got to the best ones :)
I hadn’t seen Mia since just after her little guy Braxton was born, so it was a pleasure to join her, James, and Brax to capture their maternity photos before their second child comes. Mia is and will continue to be one hot mama! We made a studio out of their basement and I had a such a great time with them (especially tricking Braxton into the photos!) :)
Today I had the opportunity to shoot such an amazing session! Ebony and Shawn have been married for one month short of a year, and wanted some stylish photos to celebrate. Wanting a contrast to the fancy clothes they were wearing, we hit some grungy places downtown, and I am so in love with how the colors between our surroundings, Ebony’s champagne dress, Shawn’s green shirt (and shoes!), and his hair worked together! These two are both cute and smokin’ hot together and I had such a great time working with them.
Yesterday I had the pleasure of shooting this fun family from Fort MacLeod down in Indian Battle Park. I had a fantastic time as the weather was gorgeous and they were so nice (and easy to make laugh!). They may not have believed me at the time that doing silly things like staring at each other with faces really close would look “magical,” but I’m glad they played along :)
