Janine and Travis, Park Lake summer wedding photos

Janine and Travis chose a gorgeous day to get married and spent it with all the people who love them the most. Their wedding party was so energetic and happy throughout the day, and always ready to help Janine with her dress. Janine and Travis are so passionate together and I had to be careful not to direct them too kiss too often, because it was hard to get them to stop!

We started off the day with Park Lake summer wedding photos of them and their families. The lake was nice and quiet (except for the mosquitoes) so we got to have free reign of the place.

Everyone then piled in the limo to head to Lethbridge for photos in the coulees (I’m always so impressed with the ease at which the girls travel down in their heels!) and some urban shots in Crossings.

Congratulations, Janine and Travis!

casual Lethbridge urban portraits

I’ve met Megan a couple times while we were modelling together at local fashion shows and have been super interested in getting her in front of my camera. I knew it was time to make this happen when I came across a new location I wanted to shoot at! After having her makeup done by the very talented Ash Makeup Artistry, we headed out for an evening of casual Lethbridge urban portraits.

The city has been doing a fantastic job putting in new architecture with personality and I’m so glad I got to try out all these new spots with such a talented model. Megan is gorgeous and has so much charisma in front of the camera. I think she has a very promising career in modelling!

City of Lethbridge Summer Photos

Wednesday, July 18th, 2012

For the next installment of my City of Lethbridge photos, here is summer! We had an amazing summer and the city put on lots of great events so I had plenty of things to photograph! The great thing about being surrounded by farming communities is that it gives us such a diverse landscape with colorful fields next to urban settings. I love how rich and blue our skies are here all summer.

This is by far the largest post because we had such a long summer and I just couldn’t put my camera down :)

In case you missed the other season posts, you can check them out here:
