Alison and Sean are ALL about the mountains; their wedding this summer will be held in Waterton, and for engagement photos they were thrilled with the idea of taking a day trip to the Crowsnest Pass for some beautiful snowy images. Darby and Thomas met up with me on one of the only snowy days we had in February (which only translated into a muddy day by the time we got outside!) for some engagement photos in preparation for their wedding this summer. I met Thomas a few years ago at his sister Liz’s wedding, and Darby is such a great fit for him! They are both so laid back and kind, and it was such a treat working with them. (more…)
On the day Kailey and Adam had booked photos with me, I woke up to snow. Oh great! However, I’m so thankful our weather is unpredictable and we had a beautiful, dry and sunny evening to work with in the end… even if it meant it was still really cold and all of us were sniffling like mad! I’m glad our photos didn’t have to get cancelled because Kailey and Adam are so ridiculously cute and in love and I had such a great time working with them. I found myself going, “Awww!” a few times when I edited their photos :) (more…)
Kristen and Matt love going to the mountains, and chose the Crowsnest Pass as the perfect backdrop for their engagement photos! They drove out for the day with their dog Buddy and we went on an easy hike for some gorgeous autumn pictures. Buddy has separation issues and tried to photobomb nearly every photo we took, but he’s soooo cute that he can totally get away with it :) (more…)
I’m so excited for this wedding! (And not just because they belong to the tall people club like me.) Heather and Dan are getting married this autumn and decided their family was pressuring them enough and it was finally time for engagement photos! Valerie and Jonathan, who you might remember from their engagement session last autumn, had an intimate wedding in Cuba this winter and then returned for an evening reception with their local friends and family. Cam and I came along to capture the spirit of the event and take some family photos, since most of their family had been unable to attend the wedding itself.
They held their wedding reception in the Coaldale Community Hall, which is just so delightfully white and crisp looking – a gorgeous contrast to their purple wedding colors. Everyone was a lot of fun and let me kidnap them for most of the time for photos :) (more…)
