Oh my goodness, Sophia has grown up so much! I have been photographing her since she was born and each year there is so much change, but this time was especially so since we had to skip last year. She’s a little person now :)

Laura and her came out to Lundbreck Falls, and we had perfect luck as our photo session fell in the two hours it stopped raining that entire weekend! Sophia has always been a natural in front of the camera and is always so easy to photograph. As per tradition, she was disappointed I couldn’t come and hang out with her afterwards :) (more…)

Rose and Dainis came down from Calgary to have a low key wedding with their immediate family present. We met up in the coulees for some family photos and they were such a fun bunch. When Erika told me that her and Jack were having a garden fairy tale themed wedding, I was so excited. Being such a Disney fan, it pulled on my heartstrings! Every detail they planned turned out beautifully and they had an absolutely perfect wedding. Everyone was so much fun to work with that they made the day just fly by. Erika and Jack were so in love and so great in front of the camera :)

Thanks to the crazy heat during the day, we got to spend some time in the evening taking outdoor photos, and I’m so glad they let me take them away in the dark for a bit :)

I usually work alongside Brien for photography, so it was a fun change to get him in front of the camera! I met up with him, his wife Lindsey, their adorable girls, and their sweet furry baby and had a great time. They were so much fun to photograph, and I must have made a good impression because the girls picked flowers for me at the end :) (more…)

With a brother whom they hadn’t seen in a few years visiting from Europe, the girls decided family photos were in order! I made a long, difficult trek (thanks to the construction) out with the Wilson family and we had a beautiful, sunny evening together taking photos. It was so nice to see sun again after all the rain! I had so much fun with this family, and look at how photogenic they are :) (more…)

Steve and Wendy may not be from the Crowsnest Pass, but with it being one of their favorite vacation spots they knew they just had to get married there! They had their ceremony at the beautiful Crowsnest Mountain Resort in a small clearing behind the cabins that held gorgeous views of the mountains and big blue sky. It was so tranquil and intimate for their small wedding and it was such a beautiful day.

We spent the next few hours exploring Coleman for photos and I had so much fun! They required so little direction and were constantly breaking into fits of laughter with their friends. After being together for 8 years, Steve and Wendy still act like their love is brand new and it was absolutely joyous to be around them :)
