Lethbridge four generation newborn photos

Zenaya was welcomed into the world by a line of strong women and her arrival celebrated with Lethbridge four generation newborn photos. Her mom, grandmother, and great grandmother all took part in her photo session and wrapped her in traditional blankets while she was happy to receive the snuggles! Zenaya did amazing at her session, drifting in and out of sleep and never making a fuss. Her mom was the only victim and received a poop explosion during bare bum time!

Indian Battle Park Fall Family Photo Session [JJ & Shaun]

Indian Battle Park fall family photo session

JJ and Shaun probably expected their girls to calm down a bit as they got older, but I think Maddie and Taylor are the very definition of “firecrackers!” I always know it’s going to be a hilarious time with their laughter, crazy expressions, and super tight hugs. At the very least, photos are easier for their mom and dad year after year because even though the girls’ energy has no limits, they still listen when they are supposed to (especially with some grandparents helping out in the background!).

This year we chose to do an Indian Battle Park fall family photo session since we usually stick to the west side and the girls loved being in more of a nature setting with all the trees to climb on and deer to spot in the bushes.

Lethbridge river bottom family photos

Jantina and Allen were in the area visiting family and decided to take advantage of their time down here by doing Lethbridge river bottom family photos. Their girls have such cute blonde hair and striking blue eyes, and the littlest was just about to celebrate her first birthday so it was the perfect time for photos! We started out at the Helen Schuler Nature Centre and wandered through the park looking for bunnies and playing with leaves. The girls did so good for their age and made it through the whole session like perfect little models.

Helen Schuler Nature Reserve family photos

Callie and her mom and dad met with me for their Helen Schuler Nature Reserve family photos this autumn. What a happy kid Callie is! Her mom warned me in advance that Callie was your typical two year old… ready to do her own thing and go on the war path if we suggested otherwise. Instead, she spent the whole session happily following all the instructions, watching for bunnies, and throwing leaves in the air!

We started at the Helen Schuler Nature Centre then made our way into the reserve to find all the amazing colours. Callie loved spending this special time with her parents and had so much fun!

mom and the girls photoshoot in Lethbridge

For Amanda’s birthday, she treated herself to a mom and the girls photoshoot with her daughters Mia and Nova. These three blonde girls are so gorgeous!

It was so fun to photograph Mia again since I haven’t seen her since her newborn photos and now she’s a feisty two year old! Aperture Park at the University of Lethbridge was such a fun location for Nova who loved looking at the deer and picking dandelions. We all had to team up to chase her around (including Mia’s friends she brought along), but Nova definitely insisted on doing her own thing. Luckily we were able to trick her into a bunch of photos by playing off what she thought she was choosing to do on her own ;)

Indian Battle Park Morning Children’s Portraits [Audrey]

Indian Battle Park morning children's portraits

Each time I take photos of Audrey, I hardly recognize her from the last time! She has grown so much in the last two years and this time around has added a puppy friend to her life. This was actually my second time working with Minnie because she helped us out at Halloween with our Windy City Canine Rescue, and just a short time after that, Audrey’s family adopted her.

Audrey was such a sweetheart for her Indian Battle Park morning children’s portraits and had such a fun time playing with and feeding snacks to Minnie.
