Lethbridge indoor autumn family photos

I can’t believe how much Annelies has grown! It feels like just yesterday we did her one year photos but she just recently celebrated her second birthday. Her grandma and grandpa were excited to get the whole family together for portraits that week in Lethbridge. We started out with their indoor autumn family photos to avoid the leftover chill that hung around from the day before, plus to get a few photos in peace from the usual Lethbridge wind :) Their wardrobe color scheme looked so great in Markin Hall at the university!

Annelies had so much fun being the center of attention and especially loved getting chased by her dad when she tried to run away. Barbara and Bernie love doting on their granddaughter and she had the biggest smiles the whole time. She’s such a well behaved two year old that it was even easier to photograph her now than when she was one! Maybe she just hasn’t learned the word “no” yet ;)

Lundbreck Falls family photos

Tammy and Kirk had all of their kids down for the long weekend and decided it was time for some updated family photos at their house near Lundbreck Falls. They have a beautiful property overlooking the mountains so we had no shortage of gorgeous backdrops! They are such a warm, welcoming family and it’s clear they have a great time with each other every moment they are together.

Fun Lethbridge weddings and portrait photography

I hadn’t seen all of Don and Linda’s family together since Julie and Andrew’s wedding many years ago, but now there are lots of little kids involved too! Right after Cathryn and Jon’s wedding (where Julie was also a bridesmaid), we drove a little further south to Edmonton for their family photos with all three generations. Ryan and Jenn’s boys were so happy and full of energy and loved playing with everyone. This was my first time meeting Julie and Andrew’s new baby Evelyn, and I couldn’t get over how much she looks like Andrew! :)

We chose a park nearby Don and Linda’s house and all of their kids drove down for the day to visit. Behind the scenes there was lots of singing, flying sock monkeys, and strange sound effects to get the kids excited ;)

Casa Generation Photo Session [Tammy & Family]

CASA generation photo session

For a special gift to her mother, Tammy set up a multi-generation photo session with her daughter, brand new granddaughter, and sister at Lethbridge’s Casa building. Little Freya was so giggly when her aunty did silly dances behind me and with all of my silly sounds, we definitely made fools of ourselves! ;)

These four ladies are so beautiful and I loved watching their family interactions. I also love how well coordinated they were and their colors worked so well with the decor in Casa!

Fun Lethbridge weddings and portrait photography

Cathy and Ed are so excited about their new baby granddaughter, Kiya! Henderson Lake was the perfect backdrop for their four generation family photography session in Lethbridge and we narrowly missed the rain. Instead we got to make use of the first buds and even got a few hints of sunshine!

Cathy’s mom and dad were able to join us for photos and it was wonderful to get all four generations together. Kiya is really going to treasure these photos when she is older! It was so sweet seeing her interact with her grandparents and great grandparents. She was such a smiley baby and loved sticking her tongue out when she was happy!

Natural Crowsnest Pass Baby Session [Molly]

Natural Crowsnest Pass Baby Session

Molly has arrived! We had our natural baby session with her in the Crowsnest Pass while Erika and Josh were down for Easter. The session was extra special because not only were both sets of grandparents there, but her great grandmothers came along too! Since Molly is named after one of these amazing women, she is definitely going to treasure these photos when she is older.

Her whole family is so excited about her and the house was just buzzing. Once Molly passed out, we had a few grandparents sneak peeks at how cute she was while sleeping! Erika and Josh are especially thrilled to have her around and are radiating so much happiness… they don’t even seem all that tired having a one month old to keep them occupied! ;)
