Tausha and her children Conner, Kamryn, and Nashton met me at the beautiful Galt Museum for some family Christmas photos (and brought along an awesome star prop). They are such a cute family and I love how well she co-ordinated them, especially for their red/black/gray color scheme. The red shoes were worth all the pain they put her in :) (more…)
Though their family is grown up and many have moved away, the Walton family was all together this weekend once again! I met up with Frank and Donna, their four boys, and their mini families to give them a much needed update to their old family photos. Aside from the usual teasing brothers do to each other, they got along so great and instantly started goofing around whenever they had to get in close together. We had a beautiful day and with such a good looking family, it wasn’t very hard to take their photos :) (more…)
I finished off my last trip to the Crowsnest Pass with some family photos of Chris, Amber, and their kids Damien, Seth, and Kaylee. They hadn’t done family photos in 5 years, and Chris and Amber hadn’t had any together with just the two of them in 14 years, so they were definitely overdue! The wind warning issued for the region had us worried, but luckily it “blew over” (har har) and we were only faced with a bit of rain, which luckily didn’t really hit until we were finished. Instead we had a gorgeous December afternoon on the Miner’s Path trail in Coleman and we had a great time… well, maybe not the boys, because I made them hug their sister a bit and that didn’t go over very well! :P (more…)
After opening for Grady, The Motorleague came back into Lethbridge a few days later for a show at the Slice. That afternoon we got together to take some new promo photos now that they have a new bassist. (more…)
I am veeeeery late on editing and posting these, but thrilled to finally get them up here. Back in September I alluded to working with a Utah photographer who could easily be David Bowie’s lovechild (everywhere he went, anyone who met him would exclaim how much he looked like Bowie, which I imagine gets pretty tiring after a while!). Adam met up with me for a fashion shoot in the lobby/bar at THEhotel in Las Vegas, and we got a solid 35 minutes in before security put a stop to it. Considering I’ve been told to move at least every 10 minutes to prevent that from happening, I think we fared pretty well!
THEhotel is gorgeous and when I first saw it a few years ago I instantly wanted to work with a model in there. Adam was a perfect (and very dapper) match. I was hoping to likewise model for him, but we ran out of time. Hopefully at next year’s Photoshop World! (more…)
When Katie and Christian asked me to photograph their wedding, I was elated. In my early concert going days, I loved to watch Christian and best man Steven’s band Atrophy Manuscript, but with the band no longer together, I hardly ever run into the guys anymore. It was neat after all this time to see Christian getting married (and to such a wonderful, gorgeous girl!).
They had a small evening ceremony at the Galt Museum, so we did the photos beforehand just before the sun went down. The light was gorgeous and we couldn’t have asked for a warmer, more peaceful day. The sun set just as they walked down the aisle. Everything they arranged was beautiful, and I’m so happy they chose the time of day that they did.
