Fun Lethbridge weddings and portrait photography

I’ve known Audrey for a while through the wonderful work she does with the Lethbridge PAW Society but only finally got to meet her in person for her own family photos! Her family treated her to a family session for her birthday, mostly in the comfort of their home so we could include a few of the kitties she had living with them. Their house had some really cute spots for photos, especially the glass work when you first enter!

Natural Crowsnest Pass Baby Session [Molly]

Natural Crowsnest Pass Baby Session

Molly has arrived! We had our natural baby session with her in the Crowsnest Pass while Erika and Josh were down for Easter. The session was extra special because not only were both sets of grandparents there, but her great grandmothers came along too! Since Molly is named after one of these amazing women, she is definitely going to treasure these photos when she is older.

Her whole family is so excited about her and the house was just buzzing. Once Molly passed out, we had a few grandparents sneak peeks at how cute she was while sleeping! Erika and Josh are especially thrilled to have her around and are radiating so much happiness… they don’t even seem all that tired having a one month old to keep them occupied! ;)

Natural Lethbridge newborn photo session

It was a joy to be able to meet Sofia for her natural Lethbridge newborn photo session in her brand new home. Mom and dad had brought her home only a few days before her photos and she was obviously pretty comfy there! She has been a great sleeper for them and slept through most of her session, other than the occasional coo when we’d try to move her. She even smiled a little (I don’t care if it was brought on by gas!).

She did so great that no one even got peed on! (more…)

Markin Hall Engagement Photos

I was so happy that we had all this fresh snow for Amelia and Abram’s engagement photos, and even happier that they were willing to brave it out there with me for what seemed like a very long, frigid 10 minutes! Luckily we had the warm Markin Hall at the university to escape to right after, and the contrast seemed like a bit of a shock.

If Amelia was this giggly and happy for engagement photos, I can’t wait to see what she is like on their wedding day. I think Abram did pretty good for not liking having his photo taken! We even got some smiles out of him :) I’m so excited for their wedding next month and can’t wait to see how beautiful Amelia is going to be in her dress after seeing the sneak peak photo of it.

Lethbridge newborn baby girl

I met Sheana and Chris a couple years ago for their wedding and was so excited to hear that their family was growing! They recently welcomed sweet newborn baby girl Natali into the world and even though they look exhausted, they are obviously so in love with her. We only got her to sleep through a bit of the session but she was super mellow when awake and so easy to work with, as long as we kept the soother handy :)

Snowy Lethbridge engagement photos

After lots of wedding planning phone calls, I finally got to meet Oscar and Michelle for their snowy Lethbridge engagement photos and had such a great time with them! They are so sweet together and I was surprised that they’ve been dating for 7 years; their love feels so fresh and new.

They drove down for the afternoon for their photos and we started in Indian Battle Park to take advantage of the fresh, untouched snow. However, it was pretty chilly so we quickly rushed over to Casa to finish the photos!

They were total naturals in front of the camera, but I’m not sure if they realize that themselves because they kept checking with me to see how they were doing! They are just so comfortable together that they naturally fell into each others arms in just the right way.

I can’t wait for their Crowsnest Pass mountain wedding this spring!
