four generation family photos in Lethbridge

Louis and Valerie’s granddaughter was visiting Lethbridge for Christmas, which was the perfect time to bring her great grandma, uncles, and aunty along and get some four generation family photos! Since the last time the kids had their photos taken, they tragically lost their brother. For these new photos, they brought along a treasured framed picture of him from that last session so he could still be included. It was a beautiful way to honour his memory and show that he’s still an important part of their lives.

Children’s Lethbridge Indoor Photo Session [April’s Family]

children's Lethbridge indoor photo session

April contacted me with a fun top secret photo project: her children and nieces were going to surprise their grandma for Christmas with a collage of the four kids! The cousins got all fancied up and snuck away for their indoor photo session at the University of Lethbridge while they were visiting for Thanksgiving. They were so cute and each of them was so well behaved when it was their turn.

It was pretty cold that weekend so we mostly stuck inside (and enjoyed the fun elevator ride in between photos!) but the children were brave and whipped off their coats for a few quick photos in the autumn leaves.

indoor Lethbridge Christmas family photos

I have been photographing Bob and Mieke’s family for nearly a decade now but haven’t seen them in a while as some of their children have moved away. This year they had everyone return come home for an early holiday celebration and called me over to the house to capture the event through indoor Lethbridge Christmas family photos. Some of the kids were much bigger since the last time I photographed the family, plus there were a bunch of new little faces! The cousins love spending time together while Mieke and Bob beam with pride over their grandchildren. Thank you for bringing me into your home and letting me capture your family’s memories after all these years!

Lethbridge fall family photos in Indian Battle Park

When we needed to hide from the wind, retreating into the Helen Schuler Nature Reserve for Jennifer and Trevor’s Lethbridge fall family photos was the perfect solution! The weather was kind enough to have a few leaves on the trees stick around. The leaves that did fall left a beautiful blanket of autumn colors over all of the sidewalks.

This family was a dream to work with. All four of their children were so well behaved and loved playing together (the end result being an epic leaf throwing battle). I’m sure they have normal sibling fights at home, but they kept it a secret from me ;)

Coaldale family farm photos

Due to some travel delays amongst their children, George and Sharon hadn’t been able to get a proper family photo at their daughter’s wedding last autumn. They made up for it this summer with Coaldale family farm photos at their beautiful home. Most of the kids don’t like having their photo taken, but I think they did a pretty good job getting through it to make their mom happy :)

Lethbridge newborn family photo session

Conrad was recently welcomed into the world by his parents and big brother Carson and got to spend one of his first afternoons doing Lethbridge newborn indoor baby photos at his brand new home. The last time I got to visit was just after Carson had arrived and his family had just moved into the house. Just a few years later it is so full of life and you can tell it has been filled with so much happiness. It’s amazing how much personality shows up already in the first month; I could already see such a contrast between Conrad and his brother. Conrad is the more mellow of the two, but I think Carson will keep up the excitement in the house to even things out ;)
