This was such a fun wedding… I wish I had time to show them ALL right now, but you’ll have to make due with one:

Just before I went to Vegas, I did a pre-wedding photo session with Joan and Erwin that was way more in depth than their engagement shoot. I was so sad to be away for their wedding (which Jan shot in my place) so this took the place of the bridal photos we would have done that day. They both looked gorgeous, and I was thankful for our indoor locations because it was a bit chilly outside! We started in the beautiful Galt Museum, then went to Henotic Restaurant.
I am so happy with how this session turned out; I think it is one of my favorites. I think I was feeling inspired that Vegas was only two days away when I shot this!

Again, I am excited by the slideshow!
I am so excited about these new slideshows! I found out about them just before heading off to Vegas, and was further impressed when I saw them in use at WPPI. Without further ado, here is Dawn & Gregg’s slideshow! They had the Big Band play this song for their first dance, and I’m stoked they did that because I love the song and it’s a very unconventional choice :)
I’ve known Dawn and Gregg for several years now, so it was such an honor to be asked to photograph their wedding. Gregg had wanted a big traditional wedding while Dawn had wanted to elope, so they compromised with a quaint winter wedding instead! I had a great day with them and couldn’t have asked for a better shoot :)

I want to make a large post with my favorite Litwin shots of the year, but I couldn’t wait to do the one I shot today. It was my first time taking bridals at night (and Jan actually did it for the first time last night!), and it was so much fun! We only had 20 minutes of sunlight after their ceremony, which we worked quickly for, and the rest was done in the studio and outdoors. Thankfully it didn’t rain or snow, and we managed to avoid the wind. And what a gorgeous couple!

Last weekend I had the honor of shooting Liz & Aaron’s wedding (which was my only private one this year). I had such a great time being able to spend such a special day with friends, and they were beyond easy to photograph! We totally fluked out with our locations because apparently the wind was unbearable that day, but we only felt a breeze where we went. The bridal party was hilarious and the reception was so much fun, with the Chevelles playing. It was fun to finally spend a reception with Dino; he has known Liz much longer than I have. Thanks for letting me do your wedding :)
