Crownest Pass Wedding Locations

The Crowsnest Pass is one of the most beautiful mountain locations for a wedding in Alberta, but if you don't know the area it can be difficult to pick the right place for your ceremony. I've created this page to show off some of the fantastic outdoor locations available to make your mountain ceremony perfect!

Fun Crowsnest Pass Wedding

Jim & Tennille's Fun Crowsnest Pass Wedding

Jim and Tennille's wedding ceremony was held at Springbreak Garden Centre in Hillcrest, with great floral decorations and towering trees all around. Luckily the weather held out so the ceremony could stay outside, but the Garden Centre does provide an indoor space, just in case. The photos afterwards were perfect, with the first hints of autumn colours over the backdrop of the mountains.

Intimate Crowsnest Pass Wedding

Steve & Wendy's Intimate Crowsnest Pass Mountain Wedding

Steve and Wendy held their ceremony in a gorgeous clearing just behind the cabins at Crowsnest Mountain Resort. It was tranquil and intimate for their small wedding, with a wonderful view of the mountains and wide-open sky.

Scenic Crowsnest Pass Wedding

Josh & Erika's Scenic Crowsnest Pass Mountain Wedding

Josh and Erika had their ceremony on top of the Pass Powderkeg ski hill, which gave us the chance to take some fantastic shots overlooking the town and mountains. Being on the top of the hill made for some incredible vistas!

Romantic Crowsnest Pass Forest Wedding

April & Ed's Romantic Crowsnest Pass Forest Wedding

April and Ed's ceremony location shows off an entirely different kind of mountain beauty. Filled with wonderful autumn colour, they chose an intimate spot at Gladstone Mountain Ranch, surrounded by towering trees. The natural forest gave their wedding a very tranquil and romantic touch.

Racehorse Creek Outdoor Wedding

Freddie & Stef's Racehorse Creek Outdoor Wedding

Freddie and Stef love the outdoors, so it was fitting they chose their favorite backroads camping spot near on Racehorse Creek as their wedding location. All of their family and friends came out with their "toys" and spent the weekend in the beautiful mountains celebrating the wedding.

The Crowsnest Pass is not just for outdoor ceremonies either. There are some beautiful churches available throughout the Pass if you want your ceremony indoors before enjoying the mountain air.

Magical Crowsnest Pass Winter Wedding

Michelle & Oscar's Magical Crowsnest Pass Winter Wedding

Michelle and Oscar started their day with an intimate ceremony in the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Blairmore, a bright, cheery church with beautiful stained glass. Their photos outside were magical, one of the few mountain winter wedding shoots we've done!

Elegant Crowsnest Pass Wedding

Jeff & Kayla's Elegant Crowsnest Pass Wedding

Jeff and Kayla also used the Catholic Church in Blairmore in an elegant ceremony with lots of attention to detail. They worked white, pink, and gold into all their decorations and even their candy table at the reception afterwards. Their outdoor photos had some amazing mountain summer sky!

Springbreak Summer Wedding

Colby & Allison's Springbreak Summer Wedding

In the event of bad weather, the Springbreak Garden Centre in Hillcrest provides a gorgeous greenhouse room covered in fresh flowers and twinkling lights. Colby and Allison were met with a downpour at the time they scheduled their outdoor ceremony but had a beautiful backup location waiting inside.

Crowsnest Pass Mountain Getaway Wedding

Drew & Alyssa's Crowsnest Pass Mountain Getaway Wedding

Ceremony location is important, but the natural beauty of the mountains is worth the drive even if your location is somewhere else. Drew and Alyssa planned their ceremony in Lethbridge and drove out to the Miner's Path and the valley by Turtle Mountain for their photos. This is one of our favourite sessions; the drive was definitely worth it!
