Your Wedding Photo Experience

When you think of your wedding day photography what comes to mind? Is it a long day of awkward smiles, lack of direction, and stiff posing? Or do you want a relaxed afternoon spending time laughing with friends?

I believe weddings should be fun. So much stress goes into planning the event, but the wedding day is when you can finally enjoy all your hard work and your photos should reflect that. I work quickly, giving you time to take photos in several locations and still get some privacy for the two of you before the reception. I try to keep things relaxed enough that you'll barely notice you're posing.

Most importantly, I want your photos to be timeless. It's important that you have classic looking-at-the-camera portraits that your children will one day cherish, but also casual joyful candids that show how completely and totally in love you are. I pose you through all of them so you never have to worry about what to do next. All you need to do is hug, kiss, and laugh!

The photos are about you. Your personality in the decorations. Your timeless connections with friends and family. Your unique love.

Do we need to be photogenic to look good in the photos?

90% of people I work with claim they are not photogenic yet 100% of them do amazing when given my direction! I pose and direct you in ways that are most flattering to you personally and with flowing between poses so quickly, even the most photo-hating groom comments that it was surprisingly fun!

Can you help us plan our wedding schedule so we have time for photos?

Yes! After photographing over 200 weddings of all varieties, I have a concrete understanding of how long everything takes. I'd be more than happy to suggest how you should space your wedding day program to optimize your photography time.

Are you able to travel?

I love to travel! I have photographed people in Lethbridge, Waterton Lakes Park, Calgary, Edmonton, Lake Louise, Canmore, the Crowsnest Pass, Fernie, Pincher Creek, Fort Macleod, Cardston, Medicine Hat, and even Las Vegas. I'm also really good at figuring out what I need to do to make your photos awesome as soon as I arrive at a location, so there is no need for me to visit a venue until the day of the event.

There are a few destinations I won't travel to due to all the paperwork and travel costs involved. If you are planning a destination wedding, feel free to contact me to discuss if it is an option.

(Please explore pricing for travel fees.)

Do you offer engagement photos?

Yes!  You have the option to add engagement photos onto any wedding coverage at a hugely discounted rate, and my top wedding collection comes with a complimentary engagement session!

Do we need to meet with you before booking our wedding?

It's important that we speak so that I can offer you the best value for what you are looking for, but this does not need to be in person. If you are out of town or too busy for a consult, I'd love to have a quick chat with you on the phone to get details about your wedding. I can then send you a personalized quote, as well as resources specific to your event!
