Drupal Camp Alberta 2010

Because I design websites in addition to doing photography, I sometimes go to really nerdy conferences too! The guys at Redwall organized this year’s Drupal Camp Alberta, which was held at the University of Calgary over two days this past weekend. They had some really great speakers this time around and I learned a ton, plus had a great time with everyone. Not all nerds lack social skills :)

There are more photos after the jump.

Of course, if the hotel is great, I need to blog about that too! This was my first time at U of C’s Hotel Alma, the new hotel right on campus. I was thoroughly impressed and will definitely return – the rooms were classy and modern, it included complimentary wi-fi and long distance calls, and even the continental breakfast was fantastic. Plus it’s a great value compared to other hotels in Calgary!

With a great morning view
