Azuridge Estate Wedding Photography [Austin & Cyndy]
Last weekend Cam and I headed to the foothills for Austin and Cyndy’s wedding at Azuridge Estate Hotel in Priddis, just west of Calgary. This was our first time doing Azuridge Estate wedding photography and we were blown away by what an amazing location they chose for their special day. Surrounded by gorgeous views of the mountains, tall trees, floor to ceiling windows, and even a dinosaur, Azuridge was a beautiful venue.
Austin and Cyndy have been together for seven years and their wedding felt like a celebration of their relationship and families. Many family members traveled from overseas to join them, filling the event with so much happiness and excitement. It is such an honor to have photographed them so early in their relationship and again for such an important day!
The two of them are still so much in love and look at each other just like any other newlyweds would :)
Congratulations, Austin and Cyndy!

This is probably my favorite ring shot I have ever taken :)
Austin picked up this beautiful watch for the wedding.
Cyndy and Austin had their first look well before their ceremony. Cyndy was even surprised when she saw herself in the mirror, much more done up than she ever gets, so I was excited to see how Austin would respond. He did not disappoint!
This is why I love doing first looks :)
The hotel had gorgeous locations both indoors and out. I loved the artistic glass walls in the den where the guys got ready.
Austin is so brave… he fought off the dinosaur by the JAWS!
This dinosaur was a gift from Steven Spielberg, who has stayed at the hotel.
I loved all the vibrant colors of the Nigerian dresses.
There are more important things to do than family photos! :)
Their ceremony was held in the back by the pond, where guests got to watch the wedding party walk down the beautiful stone staircase.
It was such a gorgeous day!
This was easily our favorite spot at the estate! And what a good workout before dinner…
The seating arrangements were themed by varieties of beautiful stones.
The desserts were made fresh at the venue all night.
This was my selfish favorite part of the wedding: mini lemon meringue pies topped with macaron cookies, two of my favorite desserts!
Cyndy and Austin’s first dance took place as the sun was setting, casting the dance floor in a gorgeous warm glow.
Once the dance floor opened, everyone was ready to party! As with every wedding, the kids were the first ones to get going. :)
The dance floor was packed all night!
Despite his brother’s obvious love for dancing, this little guy freaked out every time his mom and dad tried to convince him to dance! His brother has a lot of teaching to do ;)
A couple hours into the reception, Cyndy and Austin changed into their beautiful Nigerian outfits.
We were so excited to get to take a few more portraits outside at golden hour, which doesn’t normally work with most wedding schedules. The bright summer colors outside looked so beautiful with their purple clothing.
Here is their slideshow:
What a beautiful couple and what a wonderful set of photos! I smiled just looking at them.
