Crowsnest Pass Scottish Wedding [Richard & Crystal]
We loved taking part in Richard and Crystal’s Crowsnest Pass Scottish wedding this past weekend because, let’s be honest, weddings are awesome when you include kilts and bagpipes! They included Richard’s family tartan in the kilt, bouquet, and fathers’ ties :)
Crystal returned to her hometown for their wedding and started the day getting ready at her family’s house before their ceremony at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Blairmore. Afterwards we headed to the Miner’s Path for photos before sending them back to the church’s basement for their reception.
Richard and Crystal are such a perfect match for each other. They both have such positive attitudes and love to joke… we got to watch them make each other laugh all day! Their friends in the wedding party were the same and by reception time, everyone was so happy dancing and socializing.
Congratulations, Richard and Crystal!
I loved her leopard print shoes!
Richard’s gift (roses and a beautiful silver bracelet) was delivered while Crystal was getting ready.
Beauty is painful! ;)
After Crystal got dressed, there was such an emotional moment when she and her mom saw each other for the first time. Then her dad walked into the scene laughing at them crying ;)
Crystal was led down the aisle by bagpipes.
The perfect sibling photos :)
Abigail was a beautiful flower girl!
In place of bouquets, the groomsmen had customized flasks.
Crystal had originally wanted a winter wedding, but since it didn’t work with their schedules, they still incorporated snowflake elements throughout their decorations.
Such cute bears!
I loved Richard’s sister’s reaction to the bouquet hijacking! ;)
Richard didn’t want to flash anyone in his kilt so he removed the garter while standing.
