Fort Macleod Spring Wedding [Henry & Kari]
After an entire day of torrential downpour, the clouds cleared and left behind gorgeous, lush green colors for Kari and Henry’s Fort Macleod spring wedding! We met up with the couple for their first look in the Fort Macleod Wilderness Park, where Henry couldn’t stop smiling hearing Kari approaching him. Once they had a few extremely happy moments alone, we went down by the river and the landmark green bridge with their wedding party (with their family helping out controlling traffic!).
After family photos in the park and their early afternoon ceremony, we met back up with them at the Galt Museum for the rest of their photos. They are so happy together and their friends seemed absolutely excited for them, making our job so easy!
Congratulations, Kari and Henry!
Henry handed Kari’s bouquet to her once she arrived.
This was everyone’s reaction to seeing Kari in her dress for the first time!
The kids were so happy and well behaved! They loved being dressed so dapper.
Plus they totally know how to pose like little models!
This was her reaction to seeing them kiss :)
I love Fort Macleod’s old green bridge! We didn’t have to avoid much traffic that day, though the street sweeper being on duty at that time made things interesting! :)
Henry is an expert with tractors :)
There were even a few blossoms left :)
Kari’s gorgeous bouquet was made by Flare ‘N Flowers in Picture Butte.
Indian Battle Park was SO amazing and green that afternoon!
Everyone in the wedding party had such a great sense of humour, which led to so much joy in the photos!
I can’t believe I’ve never used this tree for photos before! I love the arch it creates.
A special thanks to Cam for going in nearly neck high bushes to get this amazing shot :)
