Waterton United Church Wedding [Jared & Jessica]
Jared and Jessica put together the perfect wedding they had dreamed of: a romantic mountain getaway that focused on their families coming together and the amazing connection they share. They even opted out of having a wedding party so they could spend more time and attention on their families.
We started the day at their Waterton United Church wedding, which was a perfect mix of sweet, touching moments and their nieces and nephews being adorable.
After the ceremony, we headed to the Prince of Wales Hotel (their favorite viewpoint in the park) for all of their portraits. Both Jessica and Jared were bursting with excitement all day and so full of joy to be marrying their soul mates. Even in the freezing wind, they couldn’t stop grinning!
They finished off their day with a private dinner (and a good shot of whiskey!) at the Waterton Lakes Lodge.
Congratulations, Jessica and Jared!
Jared and Jessica both fought back happy tears when they saw each other for the first time.
They had a classic romantic theme for their wedding, only using roses as accents.
While Jared recited, from memory, the vows he wrote for Jessica, there was not a dry eye in the room.
More crying…
Still more crying…
And even more crying!
Jared managed to steal a kiss from his new grandfather :)
We had to make use of that mountain view from the Waterton United Church!
The Prince of Wales was overrun by bighorn sheep, which happen to be one of Jessica’s favorite animals.
Jessica’s nephew would NOT kiss her so we had to switch things around (much to his horror!)
We had a very cute photobombing :)
Although the clouds moved in and out during photos, they parted at just the right times!
Jessica’s “something blue” were rings belonging to their grandmothers which she tied to her rose bouquet.
They had perfect bride and groom cowboy boots!
I had to get them to make out for a while so I could wait for the boat ;)
They finished off the day with a glass of whiskey at the hotel lounge.
