Barnwell Equestrian Portraits [Tayler]
This was my third time going out to Tayler’s family acreage in Barnwell to spend an amazing afternoon with her and her adorable pets. This year we focused a little more on the equestrian portraits when Tayler took one of her horses out to the field for some riding action shots. I love seeing her interact with her animals. She already has such a kind personality but the way she interacts with the pets, as well as how sweetly they respond to her, shows how nurturing she truly is. Being such an animal lover myself, I love being around this!
As usual, Tayler rocked her session and is always a natural in front of the camera. She makes my job so easy!
I arrived a little early to visit the kitties (who were very eager for attention) and also got to say hello to the neighbour’s handsome rooster! Some of the cats followed us around for the whole session. They were probably a little annoyed I didn’t pet them as frequently as they would have liked.
Puppy kisses! The dogs thought it was more important to kiss Tayler than to pose for their photos.
Just when we thought we finally had them ready to pose, Spring had other ideas. We joked that the massive horses were the easiest to control, and the smaller the animal got, the less they wanted to cooperate for photos ;)
Spring was only sassy for a while… those dogs are awesome in front of the camera the other 99% of the time!
Tayler and her mom are very passionate about providing homes for animals in need. Each of their cats has a very special rescue story and receives so much love!
We focused a little less on Tayler by herself this time around, but we still had to do a few. She’s so gorgeous!
The insects looked so amazing in the setting sun. We had to be careful to get close enough for photos while not walking through the swarm :)
We finished off the day with action shots of the dogs, which was probably their favourite part!
