Alberta Cattle Dog Rescue Photos [Millie]

What a sweetheart! Millie was found left behind when her family moved and didn’t bring her with them. Taken in by AARCS, this sweet cattle dog was soon sent to her foster home in Lethbridge. Within a week, Millie’s confidence sky rocketed! She quickly learned (or re-learned) how to walk on a leash and became a sucker for love and attention. She was so easy to photograph with her laid-back personality. She’d sit anywhere for a treat and stay there until she decided she needed snuggles again. She is such a well-behaved dog that we did these photos at the Dragon Boat Festival and it was no big deal to her! With her adorable spotted coat and attentive pointed ears, I don’t think she’ll be looking for a forever home for long.

Millie is available through the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society (AARCS).

Millie is a beautiful girl. I am looking to possibly adopt her. Can I get some more info on her such as approximate age and any health issues.

Hi Patrick! This post was made three years ago, so she’s definitely not available any more! You can check out their website (https://aarcs.ca/) to see what dogs they currently have.
