Waterton Wedding Elopement [Catherine & Griffin]

What makes a couple decide to get in their car and drive all the way from Nebraska to have a Waterton wedding elopement? Aside from the views (they tell me their area of Nebraska is pretty boring), Catherine’s best friend was getting married in Canmore the week before. Her and Griffin figured why not get married while they were in the area?
After her friend’s wedding, they continued their roadtrip to Waterton where they got married at the Prince of Wales Hotel. They didn’t quite have the cliff behind the hotel to themselves, but with their wedding taking place on a Monday it was pretty close. As they shared their first kiss, a nearby child exclaimed, “They’re kissing!”
As we went around Waterton for their wedding photos, they got more and more casual and made their wedding day so much fun. This meant lots of Griffin piggybacking Catherine and scooping her up for kisses. Could they be more adorable? By the end, no one was wearing shoes, not even Griffin!
Congratulations, Catherine & Griffin!

Venue: Prince of Wales Hotel

Griffin is not a fan of wearing a tie, so we let him have some neck freedom for the second half of photos.

The new fence is finally installed at Cameron Falls (I sadly wasn’t able to get this view the week before). This was timed perfectly with the wild flowers growing along the stream!

For our last location, I took Catherine and Griffin on a little hike. This is only my second time using this location in Waterton and I can’t believe it took me so long!
