Heritage Acres Country Wedding [Jordynne & Robbie]
Jordynne and Robbie held their Heritage Acres country wedding on a clear and windy day, which is pretty typical Pincher Creek weather! This was our first time at the farm museum and we loved the versatility of the venue.
Jordynne rode in to the outdoor ceremony on her dad’s old Stampede horse Jazz. Not only was it an exciting surprise for guests, but exciting for Jordynne as Jazz was very spooked by the wind and in a feisty mood about this whole arrangement! Robbie meanwhile fought back tears as he watched his gorgeous bride come down the aisle. Even their marriage officiant, a family friend whom you may recognize as a local celebrity, had to stop himself from crying during the ceremony.
The chaos from the wind (and no shortage of beer) had the couple and their friends laughing non-stop. We loved how ready they were to ham it up in front of the camera. Once we sent their friends on their way, Robbie and Jordynne continued to make each laugh like crazy (when they weren’t staring lovingly into each other’s eyes).
After finishing photos around Heritage Acres, we took Jordynne and Robbie to the Boulder Run day use area at the Old Man River Dam. The first hints of fall colours were starting to show and it was so beautiful down by the water. Despite a few close calls, we didn’t lose anyone in the giant gopher holes on the shoreline.
