Indian Battle Park Wedding Photos [Elsa & Larry]

After a few guest list adjustments, Elsa and Larry were able to have very close to the wedding they had planned out! Our most important stop of the day was for Indian Battle Park wedding photos. Larry had proposed to Elsa in the river bottom so it was a very special place for them (we even visited it for their engagement photos!).
Like every other time I’ve worked with them, Elsa and Larry constantly made each other laugh. Even with others vying for their attention, they rarely left each other’s side or stopped holding hands, which I think is absolutely adorable. :)
It was also a very emotional day as the family paid tribute to Elsa’s mother, who passed away less than a year ago. Her mother had traditionally written a poem to each of her children on their wedding day and started Elsa’s early so that she could have one as well. Elsa’s father gave a poignant reading of the poem during the reception. The couple are starting their newly married lives well backed by the support of this tightly knit family.
Congratulations, Elsa and Larry!

We started off the day with Elsa getting ready at her family’s home, where Larry came to pick her up in the John Deere tractor he had borrowed from the day. It made their travelling a little slower, but scored them lots of congratulatory honks from cars!

Elsa’s maid of honour gave her this genuine cheek pinch when she first saw her friend in her wedding dress.

Elsa got ready in the bedroom that had her parents’ wedding photos.

Before Larry arrived, Elsa had her first look with her dad…

…while an audience inside watched on!

For their first look, Elsa’s dad helped out and got to be the one to turn Larry around. Larry had such a great reaction!

Everyone really played up the farmer theme ;)

The cheek kiss was a little wet ;)

When your brother is the best man and you get to bother him all day:

Elsa had an honorary bridesmaid who joined us for the latter part of photos.

Elsa comes from a family of jokesters, which meant danger during her photo with her brothers.

It didn’t take long to realize they all get it from their dad! ;)

Later in the day, they had a very spread out “socially distant” reception at the Sandman Signature Hotel. The new renovations at the hotel look great!

Larry’s niece was pretty excited that her uncle was marrying someone with the same name as her favourite Disney princess!

One of Elsa’s brothers was celebrating his birthday that day and the family made sure he didn’t feel forgotten about because of the wedding.

One of Elsa’s brothers admitted he had been a bad uncle and accidentally convinced one of the kids to sample the cake’s icing!

One of their games had family members running around, grabbing guests, and ripping people’s shoes off.

The tallest family member became very valuable when the projector shut off!
