Nicholas Sheran Wedding Photos [Chelsey & Rick]

It was so exciting to see Chelsey have her turn in a wedding dress after photographing her sister’s wedding a few years ago! Chelsey looked stunning in her mermaid-style dress. Her and Rick were great sports through the sweltering heat and swarms of mosquitoes we encountered that day. They powered through their photos with very few AC breaks and were in such great spirits.
We first met with their families at Park Lake (land of mosquitoes). Not only were they lucky with beautiful weather, but the long weekend crowds hadn’t arrived at the lake yet and we had unlimited space for photos!
Next we made our way into Lethbridge to take them closer to their reception, starting with Nicholas Sheran wedding photos and then visiting the university. The groomsmen hilariously took over my job once in a while and called out instructions for the couple to kiss or laugh. Rick and Chelsey had such a fun afternoon spending the time laughing with their friends.
Congratulations, Chelsey and Rick!

Chelsey’s nieces were fantastic impromptu dress attendants! They kept her dress train out of the way all through family photos.

I will endlessly sing praises for all the amazing forest space at Park Lake! At the sunniest time of day we kept them almost exclusively in the shade and the gorgeous dense greenery.

I often joke that the veil can be used as a mosquito net, but in this case the bugs were so bad I had to stop them from getting trapped inside with Chelsey and Rick!

Rick took it upon himself to tickle Chelsey – normally I tell them to, but he got this reaction on his own!

A few of their friends picked up ice cream cones at Dairy Queen to help the wedding party cool off. The only problem was it was so hot, the ice cream melted at a faster rate than anyone could eat it! This resulted in some comical solutions to eating it while not dirtying their formal wear!

By the end, everyone was completely covered in ice cream. The groomsmen made the bold decision to wash off in the lake.

All of the rain we’ve had this year made for such amazing lush Nicholas Sheran wedding photos!
