Purple Springs Country Wedding Photos [Tori & Dustin]
Tori and Dustin were our first wedding rescheduled from 2020 so it felt so good for this to finally happen! They even had special signs made celebrating the fact that they waited so long that extra partying was required. Their day started with a Purple Springs country wedding ceremony on a family farm. The property had a beautiful long lawn lined with trees that was a perfect spot.
All the anticipation of the past year was finally let go. Their ceremony was full of so much laughter from everyone involved… and a few blunders at the ceremony definitely helped contribute to that ;)
After their ceremony, we drove out to the Grand Forks where they had gotten access to a beautiful private property along the river. The space had so much character with a giant tree house, old wheels, and lots of greenery.

Their wedding was at the beginning of the heat wave, so they had lots of water and fans available for their guests.
Dustin’s nerves got the better of him and he said Tori’s name SUPER wrong during the vows.
I love when kids cannot hide how they feel! Contrary to how the ring bearer looked, this far from the longest ceremony we have ever attended ;)
One big perk of the provincial government changing the rules of who can legally perform wedding ceremonies is that many couples are choosing to have someone close to them act as the officiant. Tori and Dustin chose a family friend to perform their ceremony, which made it so much more personal.
I’d totally be okay with more tree houses for wedding parties.
Tori’s cousin who passed away several years ago would have been one of the bridesmaids, so they had an honorary spot for her. We included her urn in many of the wedding party photos, and the cowboy boots on the girls matched it perfectly. It was such a touching way to hold her memory in the wedding day.
Tori chose such a great wedding dress for showing off her tattoos!
Dustin’s brother acted as a prop assistant for the last few photos and looked very stylish in the process.
I asked Dustin to either tell Tori something super sexy or kiss her ear – whatever would get the best reaction – and he did his job well!
