Environmental Office Team Photos [Adaptive Technologies]

environmental office team photos in Lethbridge

Adaptive Technologies added two new members to their team this year so it was a great time to update their headshots and staff photos. Environmental office team photos were the best fit both for colour choices and working around the social distancing rules in place at the time. I decided on a location with plain walls so they could be easily cut out from the background, while choosing environmental colours that fit their red and gray branding.

Adaptive Technologies specializes in prosthetics, orthotics, and pedorthics. They are amazing at what they do and provide exceptional patient care.

Virtual Assistant Branding Session [Brooke from Out of Sight Online]

virtual assistant branding session

For this virtual assistant branding session, it was all about the woman behind the business! Brooke is the owner of Out of Sight Online and for this photoshoot we focused on her and her personality she brings to her clients.

Brooke used to be a general purpose virtual assistant but has recently shifted her business to focus primarily on podcasters. This was where she found her passion for what she does and her favourite clients!

The great thing about being a virtual assistant is the ability to work from anywhere (which usually means at home), but this also meant Brooke didn’t have a proper “office” space for us to use for her at work images. For that we turned to Jonny Bean Coffee in Lethbridge, whose bright and modern space was perfect for Brooke’s brand. (Plus we got to have tasty drinks during that part of the session.)

For Brooke’s branding photos we wanted to show that she gets things done, is approachable, and offers a very one on one service. I kept everything bright and airy while pulling in the blue and gold accent colours from her website and logo, while Brooke found a perfect wardrobe to match.

Medical Office Branding Session [Sport & Spine Physiotherapy]

medical office branding session

This medical office branding session at Sport & Spine Physiotherapy in Lethbridge was a perfect mix of headshots, features of the building, and action shots of the services they provide.

Sandra, the owner of the business, had two goals in mind for her branding session. First, she wanted to update their website with personalized photos rather than stock images. Second, she had been in the recruitment process for young new doctors when COVID hit and prevented her from attending job fairs. Instead, she hoped to clearly demonstrate what her clinic offered through photography that could be used during recruitment.

Physiotherapy is all about actionable tasks in healing so it was important to show Sandra at work. We brought in a couple clients to model and try out the various services Sandra provides at the clinic. It was really interesting seeing what a huge range of techniques she has at her disposal and I couldn’t resist trying a few of the mobility tests myself!

The clinic is so bright, colourful, and modern that it made my job very easy, plus our models were fantastic and willing to do anything Sandra threw their way.

Business Branding Session [Richard from Empower Potential Coaching]

Lethbridge business branding session

I met Richard through my BNI networking group and it didn’t take long to see how much he cares about his work. Richard runs Empower Potential Coaching and his passion for helping people is obvious in everything he does. He needed a business branding session for his new website so we brainstormed the feeling he wanted to convey and worked from there!

The rain forced us to stay indoors, but the new science building at the university provided the bright, welcoming feel I had wanted to capture in Richard’s photos. We started by staging a few photos of Richard working with clients. Freeze frames of people speaking can capture a lot of awkward moments, so we did a lot of gesturing with hands without actual speaking!

Another important element in Richard’s life and the inspiration for the work he does is his family and relationship with his wife. They agreed to model for us too! I wanted to show the connection and joy they feel together, and the kids all did fantastic (thanks to some bribing and a stern talking to beforehand, according to their mom).

In between the guest appearances, we were able to get a number of headshots of Richard himself with a variety of looks. Once he put his suit on at the end and we really worked with the architecture of the building, he looked like he was transformed into a high end CEO!

Lethbridge Business Branding Session [Krista at AcuPlus Wellness Clinic]

Lethbridge business branding session AcuPlus Wellness Clinic

I had an amazing time getting to know Krista from AcuPlus Wellness Clinic as we planned her business branding session. Krista wanted to bring more of a personal touch to her business’s online presence since her work is so focused on her relationships with her clients. We started in her home to capture the themes of healthy eating that she encourages of her clients, as well as her love of animals and nature. Her cats made special cameos in the photo session! We then headed to her clinic, which is a warm environment full of beautiful artwork, and finished with headshots in Indian Battle Park to again capture her love of nature.

Business branding is such a fantastic new trend in marketing because it supplies you with custom stock photography to tie your website and social media together for a cohesive brand experience. Each business and individual comes away with photography that is totally unique to what they offer their clients!

Kapow Comics, Cards & Games business branding photography

Although I’ve been in the store many times, I found all kinds of new little details during this Kapow Comics, Cards & Games business branding photography session. Kapow recently won first place in the 2018 Best of the Best competition for best hobby store in Lethbridge and needed new photos to update their website and social media accounts. I stopped by on the weekend during a Magic the Gathering tournament and explored the store from top to bottom to capture all the little things that give it the great atmosphere it has.
