Jori and Shawn Castle Mountain wedding album

I love how this wedding album turned out! Jori and Shawn had their Castle Mountain wedding last summer and their Modern+ album perfectly captures the highlights of the day. With one of their main wedding colors being gray, the charcoal leather spine and pages complemented their photos. I just had to share some highlights of the book!

Castle Mountain Summer Wedding [Shawn & Jori]

Shawn & Jori, Castle Mountain summer wedding

Early on it seemed like nature was conspiring against Jori and Shawn’s Castle Mountain summer wedding. On Thursday the air was hazy with smoke from the forest fires, and on Friday everyone had the shock of August snow! When Saturday rolled around, they got the beautiful summer weather they had hoped for with clear sunny skies.

Jori and Shawn are so passionate together, having their portraits secluded in the forest was just such a natural fit for them. I had immediately noticed how romantic they were at their engagement session, but it was even more so with all of the wedding day emotions.

Castle Mountain Resort was such a beautiful choice for their wedding venue and I hope we can go back there soon.

Congratulations, Shawn and Jori!

Castle Mountain Outdoor Wedding [Allen & Anna]

Anna & Allen, Castle Mountain outdoor rustic wedding

Allen and Anna had both done the traditional wedding before and wanted something special this time around! By combining their love of camping and the outdoors, having the whole party in nature, and throwing in touches of a cute redneck theme, they ended up with a unique wedding that was totally them!

They held their Castle Mountain outdoor wedding at the Syncline group campsite just minutes from the ski hill, and what a gorgeous location it was! Their ceremony took place amongst the huge trees next to the river and they had a beautiful tent sent up nearby for their reception dinner. All of their guests were able to camp right on site making it super easy for everyone to attend.

Their wedding party members were very special to them, being made up mostly of their children (including fur baby Buster as the ring bearer, who rocked a matching vest). It was such a meaningful way to signify the blending of their families.

We went off site for a few photos at the old cabin on the highway and were definitely running back when we heard growling in the bushes! ;)

Congratulations, Allen & Anna!
