Indian Battle Park extended family photos

The Elliott family got their whole gang together for Indian Battle Park extended family photos this autumn. Everyone in this family has such a great relationship with each other! The cousins loved playing together, grandpa was a jokester with everyone, and if I hadn’t been told who the siblings were, I would have had trouble picking them out since all the in-laws feel like they’ve been friends forever. They were such an easy family to photograph because of how much they love being around each other, and what an amazing warm morning we had in the river bottom!

Miner's Path family photo session

It’s definitely official at this point: Tennille and Jim make cute kids! This was my first time meeting their newest addition, Owen, and he’s just as cute as his sister Ava! For his first photos we met for a Miner’s Path family photo session in the Crowsnest Pass and I loved watching Ava interact with her new brother. This time they brought their adorable dogs along who did a lot better than expected, but were still super excited to see other dogs along the way :)

Lethbridge river bottom family photos

Jantina and Allen were in the area visiting family and decided to take advantage of their time down here by doing Lethbridge river bottom family photos. Their girls have such cute blonde hair and striking blue eyes, and the littlest was just about to celebrate her first birthday so it was the perfect time for photos! We started out at the Helen Schuler Nature Centre and wandered through the park looking for bunnies and playing with leaves. The girls did so good for their age and made it through the whole session like perfect little models.

Helen Schuler Nature Reserve family photos

Callie and her mom and dad met with me for their Helen Schuler Nature Reserve family photos this autumn. What a happy kid Callie is! Her mom warned me in advance that Callie was your typical two year old… ready to do her own thing and go on the war path if we suggested otherwise. Instead, she spent the whole session happily following all the instructions, watching for bunnies, and throwing leaves in the air!

We started at the Helen Schuler Nature Centre then made our way into the reserve to find all the amazing colours. Callie loved spending this special time with her parents and had so much fun!

Park Lake multi-generation family photos

To celebrate Lourens’ 50th birthday, his children all got together for Park Lake multi-generation family photos. The family coordinated so well for their blue color scheme and even the little kids matched! This was a wonderful idea for his wife Peggy to put together :)

Even as their children grow and move on to start families of their own, the closeness between them remains strong. The siblings interact no differently in their joking and teasing each other than if they were still kids living under the same roof!

Twin Sibling Western Photo Session [Bradley & Allison]

twin sibling western photo session

Bradley and Allison got to have their twin sibling western photo session at their grandma’s house just outside of Lethbridge. Grandma’s house had such pretty spots but more importantly, it’s where their mom and dad keep their horses boarded and we got to bring them out for photos too!

This session was made possible by a donation through the Lethbridge Twins & Triplets Club and I was excited waiting to see which twins (or triplets!) would come my way! Twins Bradley and Allison have such distinct personalities already, which was most notable when Allison told us how done she was and Bradley watched her with curiosity, wondering what ever could have made his sister so upset :) The twins looked so cute in their miniature western wear, especially Allison’s little pink cowboy boots.
