I’ve worked with Mike for almost two years now, and for quite a while he’s been raving about Amy but since she lives in Saskatchewan, I never had a chance to meet her until now. I had a great time with them and was pleased to see Amy can keep up with Mike’s energetic nature (and she was even better at jumping than him, so he’s definitely met his match!). It’s pretty cute how sweet on each other they are too :)

Aside from increasing my mosquito bite count to an immeasurable amount, I was so happy with the first location we went to; in all my time here I have done photos all around it, but never that exact spot! (more…)

The weather may have forced us inside, but I had a great time taking graduation photos with Zack and Amanda, as well as Zack’s mom and dad. Zack has exceptional taste, as is evident by his white tux, and Amanda’s tastes are quite outstanding as well with the choice of her gorgeous sparkley blue dress. Today I photographed an absolutely adorable couple, Andrew and Alex, who have just come to Lethbridge to go to college. This photo shoot was his Christmas gift to her, which is such a sweet idea :) Their smiles were both so radiant, especially when they looked at each other.

Since it’s pretty chilly outside still, we shot in the lobby at the new Coast Hotel, which is absolutely gorgeous! It’s going to be hard not to overuse it this year but I will try my best to control myself ;) (more…)

Today I had the opportunity to shoot such an amazing session! Ebony and Shawn have been married for one month short of a year, and wanted some stylish photos to celebrate. Wanting a contrast to the fancy clothes they were wearing, we hit some grungy places downtown, and I am so in love with how the colors between our surroundings, Ebony’s champagne dress, Shawn’s green shirt (and shoes!), and his hair worked together! These two are both cute and smokin’ hot together and I had such a great time working with them.

I met Cyndy this February when she wanted to get some Valentine’s photos done for her boyfriend Austin, and today I finally got to meet Austin now that he is in town for a bit! I had a great time with these two; they are so cute together! Cyndy described herself as being shy, but around him she is constantly glowing and grinning. He’s the same; he said he’s normally serious in photos, but couldn’t hold back the smiles around her. I love seeing people so much in love!

Laura is expecting baby number two soon, so today we did her maternity photos with the rest of the family! I had a great time shooting this laid back, fun family, and am so impressed at little Nate’s modeling skills! (All this after he announced he wasn’t going to be in any photos just before I got there.)

I’m so happy I got to do this shot… I’ve been wanting to do it for a while!
