Lethbridge lifestyle photography

This summer I teamed up with a local organization to build up their image library with Lethbridge lifestyle photography. After running a model call on my website, several families were selected to take part in the project. I got to work with such a diverse group of people, from friends to past clients to some new faces! We ended up with so many natural and joyful images for the organization to choose from. Here are some of my favorites!

Pavan Park autumn morning family photos

I love seeing this family grow every year! Melissa and Schuyler brought their children out for Pavan Park autumn morning family photos on the tailend of the season. We were very lucky with this beautiful day as we had to reschedule once due to a huge blizzard! These are their first full family photos since their littlest arrived (he had his own newborn session while his siblings were out of the house on adventures). It was adorable seeing how much his brother and sisters looked after him. Whenever he fussed, they tried to cheer him up, and they helped Mom and Dad pack him around. We’ve traditionally done their family photos around their home instead, so this was a new experience with lots of exploration opportunities. The kids loved throwing the leaves, exploring through the trees, and sliding down the banks to the river.

Indian Battle Park fall family photography

April, Ross, and their two boys brought their love of Halloween into their Indian Battle Park fall family photography session. I asked them to bring along a few props and was delighted with the results! The amazing pumpkin was made by April, and since the Michael mask fit her the best, mom had the honour of being the creepy one lurking in their photos. (April revealed she had the hugest grin during those photos, which you absolutely cannot see!). This family is so theatrical, making them a blast to work with.

Pavan Park late autumn family photos

Each day in October last year was a total surprise for what the weather would do. The day before Lana and Jamie’s session we had snow, and for theirs it warmed up at the cost of a wind warning! We tucked ourselves deep into the river bottom to escape the wind and found the last few leaves before the wind took them all away. Their Pavan Park late autumn family photos had just enough colour left and tons of leaves to throw in the air for some fun action shots. Lana and Jamie have raised such a friendly family and they were so easy to work with. Being close to each other comes so naturally to them!

Pavan Park autumn morning family portraits

I love our annual tradition of photographing this part of my family. Nothing shows how much the girls have grown than comparing their photos side by side each year! Now that they’re both school age, they are awesome little models and rocked their hip attitude poses. We ended up doing gorgeous sun-kissed Pavan Park autumn morning family portraits after rescheduling from rain earlier in the weekend. It was such a fun morning, and their grandparents came along for a few photos at the beginning too!

Lethbridge Summertime Playful Family Photos [April & Tom]

Lethbridge playful family photos

April is a total sweetheart who I know through dance, and I was honoured when she asked me to photograph her family. They wanted the photos to be representative of the years they have lived in Lethbridge so we chose the High Level Bridge as a backdrop. It was also important to capture playful family photos with a lifestyle feel and April went all out! Her, Tom, and the boys came equipped with pool noodles and loaded water guns, ready to battle it out at the end of the session. I love all of the joy that came out during those photos!
