High Level Bridge multi-generation family photos in Lethbridge

Chris and Richard planned for High Level Bridge multi-generation family photos while their family was visiting for the weekend. These photos were long overdue since it had been 13 years since their last family session!

Many family members have moved away from Lethbridge, but still have a fondness for the city’s biggest landmark. The river bottom along the Lethbridge Viaduct was therefore the best place to choose for photos.

Their family came prepared with lots of fun props, including the big picture frame they could use to show off their children and grandkids!

Lethbridge high level bridge photos

Odessa and her family wanted to update their family photos to celebrate their move to the city. They thought it would be fun to have something iconic to Lethbridge in their photos, and what could be more Lethbridge than the high level bridge?

We worked out a date when Odessa’s oldest son was visiting from university. The younger twins had a blast hanging out with their big brother again. The three of them had competitions of jumping over posts in the park, took turns giving each other piggyback rides, and enjoyed climbing on the bridge even when it wasn’t part of the photos.

Their family has such an amazing connection to each other, making the photo session feel more like a playful outing than an actual photoshoot!

Indian Battle Park Wedding Photos [Elsa & Larry]

Elsa & Larry, Indian Battle Park Wedding Photos

After a few guest list adjustments, Elsa and Larry were able to have very close to the wedding they had planned out! Our most important stop of the day was for Indian Battle Park wedding photos. Larry had proposed to Elsa in the river bottom so it was a very special place for them (we even visited it for their engagement photos!).

Like every other time I’ve worked with them, Elsa and Larry constantly made each other laugh. Even with others vying for their attention, they rarely left each other’s side or stopped holding hands, which I think is absolutely adorable. :)

It was also a very emotional day as the family paid tribute to Elsa’s mother, who passed away less than a year ago. Her mother had traditionally written a poem to each of her children on their wedding day and started Elsa’s early so that she could have one as well. Elsa’s father gave a poignant reading of the poem during the reception. The couple are starting their newly married lives well backed by the support of this tightly knit family.

Congratulations, Elsa and Larry!

six month baby photos in Lethbridge

Ostara got all dressed up for her six month baby photos with a special flower crown designed by BLOOMdiggity. We did the photos down in Indian Battle Park where the bright colours in her crown really popped against the lush spring greens. Ostara loved getting hugs and kisses from her mom and dad. She totally embraced being adorned in a crown!

Lethbridge summer family photos

When Janet and Alvin celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary, their children gifted them a photo session for Indian Battle Park family portraits. It was the perfect time to update their photos while each of their children’s families were back in Lethbridge.

Their family is adorable and cares for each other so much. With each hugging embrace for photos came huge smiles from everyone involved. Alvin and Janet themselves snuggle and grin like newlyweds even after 40 years!
