Indian Battle Park autumn extended family photos

Don’t let the warm colours in Meredith and Guerrino’s Indian Battle Park autumn extended family photos fool you. It was starting to snow during their October session and that may have been my fastest extended family shoot ever to get them back to warmth!

I have photographed their son’s family-in-law a bunch of times, so it was great to meet his side this time. All of their children and grandchildren were able to be there and despite the cold, it was so pretty in the river bottom that afternoon.

Thank you for freezing with me, everyone! :)

High Level Bridge winter family photos

Russ and Teresa’s boys took a little convincing to get them onboard for a session, but Teresa was persuasive! (When Mom really wants something, it’s best to go along with it.) Their High Level Bridge winter family photos were a little colder than they were used to… the family had just gotten back to Lethbridge from a warm vacation! Between that and the little kids, we moved fast, and the boys were probably very grateful ;)

goth styled portraits in Lethbridge

???When I saw the birthday outfit Sadie put together for herself, I knew I had to get her in front of my camera for some goth Halloween vibes!? It had been way too long since I last worked with Sadie and I was waiting for just the right photoshoot to have her model for me again. (I love how different this was from our last one too!) I managed to squeeze her in during a golden hour for these goth styled portraits. While the initial goal of my photoshoot was to use some old film, I’m definitely glad I brought my mirrorless camera too.

Lethbridge river bottom fall family photos

Cody and Ashley with their daughter Avery had such a beautiful day for their Lethbridge river bottom fall family photos. Everything was perfect for climbing logs and twirling around in the leaves, and the golden colours in Indian Battle Park were amazing! The family did such a good job coordinating their clothing colours just from raiding their closets and using what they already had.

Avery was so creative with coming up with silly faces and poses, that I definitely preferred those to her just smiling at the camera! Her mom and dad were happy to take her posing suggestions ;)

autumn newborn family photos in Lethbridge

With the arrival of Kaeson, his family was complete! Not too long after his birth, they scheduled their autumn newborn family photos (along with dog Lily). We had a perfect day in Indian Battle Park as the first fall colours were coming in.

Kaeson’s big brothers were so good with him, though he was usually still happiest in Mom’s arms! He did so great for his first photoshoot.

Lethbridge wedding portraits at Nicholas Sheran Lake

Dammy and Jeff had a private backyard elopement in Edmonton, and then saved all of their fancy photos for when they were back in Lethbridge. This made everything so laid back! We did their Lethbridge wedding portraits at Nicholas Sheran Lake where they brought along some of their wedding floral arrangements and set up a mini wedding site in the park.

Dammy’s son David was of course an integral part of their day as they enter their blended family, but we made sure he got to take lots of breaks so he wouldn’t get bored by the end ;)

After we finished with their wedding attire, the family put on more casual outfits and we headed to the High Level Bridge. Dammy wanted to have something “very Lethbridge” to celebrate her time here before she moved to Edmonton full time, and nothing says Lethbridge like the bridge!
