This may look like a Christmas wedding, but these snowy Norland wedding portraits were part of the wild fall weather we’ve had! Janita and William didn’t let the cold temperatures or second snowfall slow down their wedding plans. They were just as enthusiastic about the snow, which looked amazing with the rich reds in their colour scheme.

The wedding party and their spouses tag teamed keeping the couple warm by picking up hot chocolate, being ready with blankets behind the scenes of the photos, and parking their truck nearby so everyone could warm up in shifts.

Janita’s family lives just down the road from the Norland, plus the venue is only one block away from their church, so it was the perfect place to do their wedding photos! There were still a few autumn colours here and there while the beautiful beams of sunlight provided welcome relief from the cold for everyone.

From the time Janita’s father started laying on the dad jokes during getting ready photos to siblings lightly teasing the couple during their reception, everyone was in a constant state of laughter and joy all day long.

Cassie and Christian returned to their hometown for their Paradise Canyon fall wedding. They chose a plum colour theme with autumn accents such as pumpkins and orange flowers to match the season. Despite being met with a surprise snowfall the night before the wedding, we still managed to pull out the fall colours from the Lethbridge landscape!

Their ceremony was filled with lots of happiness and laughter, especially when Christian’s nephew tried his best to steal the show. We made use of the beautiful coulees behind the golf course for photos, then headed over to Nicholas Sheran Lake to focus on Cassie and Christian. It’s no wonder Christian couldn’t stop smiling at his beautiful bride! A warm, fuzzy blanket kept Cassie going through photos, and she bravely whipped it off each time. Luckily Christian’s embrace was a warm alternative.

While most of our weddings this year had a huge chance of being rained out, Shelly and Mark’s Paradise Canyon summer wedding never once had that threat. Instead they had an amazing hot day for their outdoor ceremony at the golf course.

They chose to hold both their ceremony and reception at the scenic Paradise Canyon Golf Resort, overlooking the coulees. With Mark’s family travelling a far distance to attend the wedding, it was fitting they got to spend this special day in such a distinct Lethbridge landscape!

It was amazing seeing Shelly and Mark interact with each other. While they are normally very collected people, they couldn’t hold back their emotions at times like seeing each other down the aisle and sharing emotional speeches. I love photographing criers ;)

When Kathy and Rob were planning their Paradise Canyon winter wedding, I’m sure they weren’t expecting spring rain! They were given a gorgeous February afternoon for the wedding which let Kathy really show off her stunning champagne lace dress outside.

They had their intimate ceremony indoors at Paradise Canyon with their only their children and parents in attendance. Their children, as well as Rob’s granddaughter, made up the wedding party to make everything that much more special.

Kathy, Rob, and their entire family were such happy people, completely joyous to be celebrating this day. Kathy and Rob are so in love and completely glow around each other.

After knowing Scott and Katie for many years it was an honor to be a part of their University of Lethbridge summer wedding. Their wedding was such a joyous coming together of both families, with guests traveling from as far as England and Abu Dhabi to attend! This may have been the happiest wedding we have ever been to :)

Scott and Katie met while attending the U of L, so it made sense to bring their joining back there and have their ceremony at the University’s Markin Hall. It was a beautiful, bright location and the music of their sextet brass band perfectly filled the space. Scott and Katie were both music majors so music played a very important part throughout their day.

We had so much fun with them and their bridal party, who were all so positive, happy, and goofy despite the CRAZY heatwave we had to deal with.

When photos were finished, we headed to their reception at Paradise Canyon for more live music and LOTS of dancing!
