Elegant Crowsnest Pass Wedding [Jeff & Kayla]

Kayla & Jeff, elegant Crowsnest Pass wedding

Kayla and Jeff had a beautiful, elegant Crowsnest Pass wedding at the end of summer with so many well thought out details! The hints of pink, gold, and white throughout their day added perfect touches and I especially loved their matching balloons (a special thanks to the bridesmaids for inflating those before the ceremony!).

I love seeing how happy Kayla and Jeff are around each other and they were just as cuddly as at their winter engagement session, even though they didn’t need to keep each other warm this time!

They started their day with a ceremony at the Catholic Church in Blairmore and followed with a reception at the Coleman Sportsplex. They did a gorgeous job working their pink and gold colors into the decorations and candy/sundae bar, and you couldn’t recognize the venue as being a curling arena!

Congratulations, Kayla & Jeff!

Brooks Spring Wedding [Andrew & Shannon]

Shannon & Andrew, Brooks spring wedding

After shifting between a few possible dates for their big day, Shannon and Andrew decided on a beautiful Brooks spring wedding in late May and they couldn’t have picked a better day! The blossoms popped out just a few days before and the sun shone all day with just the right number of clouds so it wasn’t too hot.

We started out the day with their outdoor ceremony in Evergreen Park, surrounded by all the lush trees. Brooks had so many great spots thanks to the new blooms, which conveniently matched their wedding color of soft pink!

This was such a fun wedding – not only because we knew a few wedding party members and other guests, but because Shannon, Andrew, and their friends are so fun and silly all the time! We never stopped laughing with them all day and it really took no effort to get them to be crazy in their photos :)

At their reception everyone got involved dancing and singing, especially when a certain Journey song came on ;)

Congratulations, Shannon and Andrew!

Kim & Danyel | A Lethbridge Wedding

Monday, July 23rd, 2012

Kim and Danyel had a beautiful Canada Day wedding that I was so happy to be a part of. They are such a nice, laid back couple and very easy on the eyes! I really appreciate the trust they put in me throughout the day to just do my thing :)

Every part of the day ran flawlessly so we had tons of time for photos, yay! We stuck to the west side to keep away from all of the celebrating crowds and ended up with such gorgeous, intimate settings.

Congratulations, Kim and Danyel! (more…)

Greg & Jessica | A Lethbridge Wedding

Wednesday, June 20th, 2012

What an awesome start to the wedding season! Greg and Jessica got married on a blustery but otherwise beautiful afternoon (hey, it’s Lethbridge, we expect that!) with their family and friends there to support them. Everyone was so full of joy and so fun to photograph. Greg and Jessica are so sweet together, and as soon as they saw each other you could see any stress instantly melt away.

Everything they picked out for their big day was gorgeous, and even later in the night when people get tired, everyone was full of energy and still having a great time.

Congratulations, Greg and Jessica! (more…)

Mitch and Kara, a Lethbridge Wedding

Wednesday, August 4th, 2010

Kara and Mitch were married a few weeks ago at a beautiful sunny ceremony in Pavan Park with their closest family and friends in attendance. I had a fantastic time with them because they put the utmost trust in me and did anything I told them to for the sake of photos! (I made them “work for it,” Kara told me with satisifaction in her voice.) They were kind enough to let me drag them out to Monarch for the majority of their formal photos, and I’m so glad we went there because that is one of the most diverse towns I have ever seen for locations!

I was also pleasantly surprised to find someone I’ve known for a few years in their bridal party – Lethbridge is small like that, so I’m actually surprised it doesn’t happen more often!

Kara and Mitch are a sweet couple, and I must say I love Kara’s “kissy face” she often makes.

Thanks to Andrew Suderman for helping out this time around! (more…)
