Todd & Alex, a Lethbridge Wedding

Thursday, September 15th, 2011

Alex and Todd had a beautiful, intimate wedding with only their immediate family at the ceremony and then a party for more of their friends and family in the evening. Todd’s grandmother, Vivian, though unable to speak due to illness, was at times the life of the party – grinning wildly, enjoying champagne, and constantly giving her thumbs up when things were wonderful to her. She was such a ham in front of the camera, it was hard to get candid photos of her! The whole day was beautiful and romantic, and there was so much happiness and love among everyone. (more…)

Jeremy and Eve, a Lethbridge wedding

Tuesday, January 18th, 2011

Jeremy and Eve were my first wedding of the year, and what a great way to start it off! They’ve been in love for quite some time now and only finally decided to tie the knot (which led to some great “It’s about time!” jokes during the ceremony). With their closest friends and family watching, they had their intimate evening ceremony in the Galt Museum. After the photos, Eve and Jer rejoined their family for hors d’oeuvres and music. I hope you guys had a fantastic time all night! (more…)

Candace and Shane

This Saturday I shot the wedding of the oh-so-gorgeous Candace and Shane, once again with Michael in tow as my backup shooter. I have to admit, it was a bit of a challenge shooting this as I’m still recovering from pneumonia! Luckily my lungs cooperated, it was a gorgeous day, and Candace and Shane were SO easy to work with. They are such a laid back couple and they looked absolutely stunning. The details they put into their wedding were so beautiful (especially Candace’s fitted dress) and I was so impressed that they put this whole thing together in only a couple months!

We started the day with an intimate ceremony at the Lethbridge Lodge, then journeyed out into the wind for photos, but by Lethbridge standards it was only a “breezy” day, so luckily no one blew into the coulee ;)
