It’s time to start posting all the top secret Christmas gift sessions!

LeeAnna and her siblings David and Angela went all stealth over Thanksgiving to sneak way from their parents for a few hours to work on their Christmas gift… and getting dressed up on a Monday night to go “study” probably looked a little suspicious ;)

It stopped raining JUST long enough for us to do the photos, but even though we were sniffly it was so gorgeous and colorful outside! I’m happy to finally get to post these… they were so fun to work with again (I photographed LeeAnna’s wedding a few years ago) and I love how silly they are together! (more…)

The girls surprised their parents last Christmas with photos of the two of them, so this year mom and dad wanted to be included too! We caught a beautiful day in between all the rain and wind and it was great to work with the family again. I definitely think I had them get their monthly quota of hugs from each other during the session :) (more…)

I hadn’t seen them since Julie and Chad’s wedding a few years ago, so it was great to photograph Penney and Kevin’s family again! They had me come out to their gorgeous farm, and we had the most amazing light to work with. Everyone had so much fun with each other and it was great to watch such a tightly knit family. Their senior dog Molly tagged along for a few photos, but stopped cooperating when she realized I would rub her belly if she rolled over :) (more…)

With a brother whom they hadn’t seen in a few years visiting from Europe, the girls decided family photos were in order! I made a long, difficult trek (thanks to the construction) out with the Wilson family and we had a beautiful, sunny evening together taking photos. It was so nice to see sun again after all the rain! I had so much fun with this family, and look at how photogenic they are :) (more…)

Oh my goodness, they have grown up so much in one year! I got to see Noah and Zoe again for some updated photos, and I love photographing these kids. Although Zoe cried through most of the session last year, this time went awesome, especially considering everyone involved was getting over the flu (myself included). I hope to see you next year! Sisters Andrea and Lacey brought their families together for the Easter long weekend and had a big photo shoot to celebrate! All of the cousins got to play together and be hams in front of the camera and I had an awesome time with them. (more…)
